Angel Reese defends gesture directed towards Caitlin Clark after LSU national title win; calls out double standard after being 'unapologetically' her

omg i feel like angel reese did NOT do anything wrong ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ! people are always so salty when someone does something that makes them uncomfortable ๐Ÿ˜’, but honestly who doesn't love a good clap back? ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ i mean clark might not have noticed what reese was doing, but some of us saw it and we were LIVING FOR IT ๐ŸŽ‰. and can we talk about how fabulous both these players look on the court? ๐Ÿ˜ reese's season was already fire before this whole thing went down, and now she's got even more momentum behind her ๐Ÿ’ช. i'm so here for unapologetic, confident women slaying the game ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I think it's kinda cool that Angel Reese stood up for herself like that ๐Ÿ˜Ž. I mean, if someone does something similar, you expect them to get called out? And in this case, Clark didn't even notice what was going on, so I don't really see her fault either ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. People need to chill out and celebrate confident women in sports - it's about time we start supporting our female athletes instead of tearing each other down ๐Ÿ’ช. It's also funny that the coach seemed clueless about the whole thing... like, girl, you're supposed to keep an eye on your players ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ! Anyway, I'm loving Angel Reese's attitude and her stats this season are insane ๐Ÿ”ฅ.

OMG ๐Ÿ˜ฎ, I'm still trying to process this whole thing! So Angel Reese does that gesture at the LSU national title win and it's like, totally got people riled up ๐Ÿคฏ... but then she reveals it was a response to Caitlin Clark doing basically the same thing earlier in the tournament? ๐Ÿ™„ Like, didn't Clark think that would be super obvious?!

And I'm with ESPN's Holly Rowe on this one ๐Ÿ™Œ, people need to chill out and celebrate these young women's confidence and sportsmanship! I mean, Reese averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds in her first season with LSU, no joke ๐Ÿ’ช... she was clearly fueled by all the hate. And Clark just wanted to spend time with her teammates, cool ๐Ÿ˜Š.

I'm also kinda curious about what Kim Mulkey was thinking (or not thinking) during that game ๐Ÿค”... did anyone even tell her about the earlier hand signal? ๐Ÿ™ƒ
