Beyond chicken soup: what chefs and doctors eat when they’re sick (or just hungover)

I don’t usually comment but I find it weird that everyone has their own favorite comfort food remedy... mine is actually something super simple - just a warm cup of black coffee ☕️, no sugar or anything fancy, just straight up caffeine to kick my body back into gear 💪

I think the key takeaway here is how diverse our bodies are and what works for one person might not work for another, especially when it comes to managing symptoms like a cold or flu 🤒🍵. The idea that there's a "one-size-fits-all" solution is far from true, and I love how each of these experts has their own go-to remedy – whether it's honey, thyme tea, or fire honey ( Anna Jones' bright-orange sunshine in a jar) 💛. It's all about tuning into your body's needs and finding what makes you feel better.

omg i had this thing with my throat last week 😷 and i swear drinking lots of water helped soo much... but then im thinking what if u just wanna chill at home and have ice cream lol? 🍦 professor eccles said that was ok 🤣 anyway, honey in warm tea sounds nice but i dont think id like lemon or peppermint in my tea 🤢 is it weird that i never had a hangover before? 💁‍♀️
