I don't get why people are so worked up about Trump's "retribution" slogan - like, isn't that just a fancy way of saying he wants revenge? Can we talk about something else? man this guy's gonna do whatever he wants and just expect us to chill with it its like he thinks hes above the law and thats just not right meanwhile people are actually going out in protest on saturday which is kinda cool i hope those ppl can make some noise and get trump's attention but honestly im worried about whats gonna happen next btw the whole "i am your retribution" slogan is so cringeworthy lol

man this is getting seriously out of hand trump's administration is basically doing everything in its power to erode democratic norms and it's like, we're seeing this phenomenon of competitive authoritarianism where the president thinks they're above the law and can just do whatever they want without consequences . newsflash don't tweet about something you didn't mean to say and expect everyone to take you seriously but seriously though trump's ability to manipulate public opinion and turn his personal vendettas into a rallying cry for his supporters is super concerning .

the fact that a third of republicans think american citizens who oppose the president should be deported is straight up terrifying and it just goes to show how effective trump has been at tapping into this kind of sentiment. but like, what's next? will we see more instances of the justice system being abused for political purposes? it's like, we need to start thinking about the long-term implications of this kind of behavior and whether it's going to have a lasting impact on american democracy

Trump's obsession with himself is getting out of hand his actions are basically making him want to be a dictator, and it's super scary for Americans he thinks he can just ignore the law and get away with it which is not how democracy works the fact that people are actually believing this nonsense is mind-boggling if you're planning on showing up to those protests, make sure to wear a mask and be prepared for some crazy stuff happening on Saturday
