Pennsylvania Gov Josh Shapiro revealed that he had a candid conversation with then-President Joe Biden about the state of his re-election campaign, stating bluntly that polls showed it wasn't looking good in Pennsylvania.

Shapiro's account offers insight into his approach to advising Biden during his campaign. He argued for directness and honesty when speaking with the President, saying "I believe that if you got something to say, you say it directly to that person's face, and he's the president of the United States." Shapiro claimed that their conversation took place in a coffee shop in Harrisburg.

According to Shapiro, Biden initially responded by stating that his poll numbers were different from those seen in Pennsylvania. The discussion highlights the complexities of advising high-profile figures during high-stakes elections.

It remains unclear how Biden ultimately handled the concerns raised by Shapiro about his campaign.

can you believe this? 🤯 so joe biden is literally having a coffee shop convo with josh shapiro and it's all about pa polls 🍰👀 like, i get it, gotta be real but also gotta handle the politics right? 💼 it's not easy being the pres, gotta have those tough conversations but also gotta keep your team on board 💪 maybe biden just didn't want to hear it or maybe he did and decided to take some action 🤔 we'll never know for sure 🙃 what do you guys think though? should biden be listening to his advisors more or is it time to trust his own instincts? 🤝

🤔 I'm surprised he didn't just tell him to pivot, ya know? Like, polls aren't everything. You gotta have a strategy and all that jazz... but at the same time, it's good that Shapiro spoke up. Can't let Joe Biden go in blind like that 🙃

I'm totally with Josh on this one 🤩. As someone who's always had a thing for neat layouts and clear info, I think it's awesome that he kept it real with Joe Biden about the state of his re-election campaign. Polls showing bad numbers is like having a poorly designed website - you gotta address it ASAP! Shapiro's got this whole "tell it to their face" vibe going on, which is all about transparency and trust 📝. And I'm curious, did Biden actually take action after talking to Shapiro? Should be some juicy deets soon...

I gotta say, it's kinda interesting that Shapiro went straight to the point with Joe Biden 🤔. I mean, can you blame him? You're trying to help the guy win an election and you need to know what's really going on 📊. It's not like they're having a casual coffee chat, there are millions of people voting for them 💪. The fact that polls showed Biden wasn't doing well in PA must've been tough for Shapiro to bring up 🤷‍♂️. But hey, being honest is always the best policy, right? Even if it's not what you want to hear 👍.

I feel for Josh Shapiro, you know? He's just trying to give his two cents and help out a friend in need 🤝. I mean, can't we all relate to that feeling of uncertainty when it comes to re-election campaigns? 😬 It's like, you're trying to be the adult here and give advice, but at the end of the day, you still have to deal with the drama and stress of an election. 🤯 And let's be real, having a conversation about your poll numbers in a coffee shop is already pretty bold move 😂. I'm curious though, what does it say about the state of politics that even Presidents need someone like Josh Shapiro to tell them their numbers aren't looking good? 🤔

just saw this and u gotta feel bad for joe biden, been in office 4 years now and ppl r still sayin he's gonna lose re-election lol what a tough spot to be in 🤕 anyway, seems like shapiro was tryna be real with him, not sugarcoat nothin', which is pretty admirable i guess but still, poor guy's gotta deal w/ all this negativity 💔
