I'm not saying Francis Zuber's actions weren't heroic or anything, but have you considered the fact that he might've had to take time off work or school to take those rescue courses? Like, what about his personal life and responsibilities? We're always told to be prepared for emergencies, but what about being prepared for the consequences of taking time off from our daily lives? 
... it's crazy to think about how quickly things can go wrong on the slopes. Francis Zuber is literally a hero for springing into action like that, I'm impressed by his quick thinking and bravery 
. It's also great that the rescue didn't result in any injuries to himself, that's just as amazing 
. The fact that this has sparked people to look into taking rescue courses is a good thing, safety should always be our top priority on the mountain

I mean, what a crazy situation! If you're gonna get stuck upside down in a tree well, you want someone like Francis Zuber around to bail you out ASAP

It's crazy how one wrong move can put you in a world of trouble, but also super inspiring to see someone act so selflessly to save another person. I'm definitely gonna check out those rescue courses now, gotta be prepared for the unexpected

& some random dude who witnessed it just springs into action to save him?! talk about quick thinking & bravery what if he hadn't known how to react or something?! anyway, its so cool that the skier saved his life without getting hurt himself. and yeah, maybe this incident will make ppl think twice before heading out on the slopes or take some rescue courses just in case
