I'm so worried about George Santos ... I get that we all make mistakes, but this is on a whole other level! He basically lied about his entire life and it's crazy he only got a slap on the wrist. And now Trump is saying he showed "courage" for voting Republican? What does that even mean?! It just feels like another example of a double standard, where Trump gets to pick who deserves mercy or punishment based on their loyalty to him. I'm not saying Santos doesn't deserve some leniency, but it should be fair and not just because he's been a thorn in the side of his opponents. This whole thing is just so frustrating

I mean, we're talking about a guy who basically lied his way into politics and then tried to cover his tracks.

On one hand, I get that everyone deserves a second chance, especially when it comes to people who've been wrongly accused or mistreated .
