The latest development in this already volatile situation has really got me thinking
... like what just happened between Trump and Putin is basically Russia sticking its foot down on everything. I mean can you imagine being Ukraine right now, trying to figure out how to deal with all this? It's not exactly the most reassuring news for them.
And then there's Trump's stance on providing those long-range Tomahawk missiles... honestly it feels like he's just throwing a bone out of solidarity or something. I mean what good are they really going to do if Russia isn't budging at all? Ukraine needs concrete action and not just empty promises from the US.
I'm also getting a bit worried about how this is going to play out in the long run
. We've been seeing this situation escalate for ages, and now it feels like no one's really got a clear plan in place. The people of Ukraine are suffering so much right now, and I just hope that everyone involved can figure something out soon.
The lack of transparency from Trump on this call is also super concerning
. How much exactly did he agree to? And what exactly does he mean by "not seeing it as a provocation"? It all feels very vague at the moment.
