China Boosts Crude Oil, LNG Imports from Canada as Ottawa Washington Relations Sour Chinese customs data shows a significant increase in crude oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports from Canada in August.
The value of these imports rose 64% year on year, with the volume increasing by 35%. This surge coincides with a sharp rise in Russian energy product imports.
