The latest incident occurred last Thursday when Marine One had trouble contacting controllers as it prepared to take off in Washington, D. C.

This is not the first time Marine One has struggled with radio communications. In early August, the NTSB revealed that on August 4, the helicopter's attempts to contact air traffic controllers were met with silence.
