The Weekend Sleep Paradox: Good News for Your Heart? A recent study has shed new light on the long standing debate about the importance of consistent sleep schedules.
Researchers from Korea University in Seoul found that catching up on sleep at weekends may lower the risk of high blood pressure, challenging conventional wisdom that people should maintain regular bedtimes and wake up times seven days a week.
The study examined data from 40,727 adults in South Korea who participated in the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey between 2016 and 2023.
