they're like a never-ending fascination with the darker side of human nature. Don't get me wrong, I love a good whodunit as much as the next person, but it's just so... repetitive. Every week it's another case, another investigation, another "oh no, someone got murdered!" Meanwhile, real crimes are still happening and we're all glued to our screens watching the latest episode

. Give me a break, can't we just get some more nuanced storytelling around here?
... like how do they actually solve them? Do they get new evidence or clues that were missed before? And what's the process like when it comes to reopening a case that was thought to be unsolvable? The show always seems so dramatic and intense, I wonder if it's really just people piecing together old puzzles 
I love watching those true crime cases and trying to piece together what really happened. The show is always so well done and the hosts are super informative. Anyone else a fan of this show? 
I've been binge-watching some old episodes on Paramount+ and it's still just as good today as it was back when I first started watching. Definitely a great way to spend a Saturday night! 
. Don't get me wrong, they can be super intriguing and all, but sometimes it feels like they're just scratching the surface. Like, are we really getting a full picture here? And what about all the stuff that never gets aired because of sensitive information or whatever 
. It's all pretty fascinating, I guess...
, like, we need to explore other topics for real, you know? And can we talk about how some of these shows just sensationalize death and trauma for the sake of ratings? I mean, what's next? A show about the lives of inanimate objects or something? 
Just saying. Anyway, on a more serious note, it's interesting that they're still going strong with "48 Hours" after all these years... maybe we can learn from its formulaic approach to storytelling 
️ they're so fascinating and it's like, you get to learn something new every week. i'm really looking forward to the episode about Robin Lawrence - closing cold cases is such a great way to bring justice to victims and their families. and yay for Paramount+ having all full episodes available, that's like the best thing ever

and my uncle joe's murder is a bit too close to home for comfort
