California Democrat to run for congressional seat held by Nancy Pelosi

idk why ppl r already assuming Wiener is gonna win lol 🤣 he's been hiding behind his "explore committee" for a yr now, and now he's just gonna hop straight into the congressional seat? 🙄 that's like trying to get on a plane with no ticket, u know? 😂

and btw, Pelosi's not out of the spotlight yet... she's still got Prop 50, fam! 🗳️ don't count her out just 'cause she ain't running for re-election. Wiener might think he's all high and mighty with his Harvard Law degree, but I'm low-key rooting for Chakrabarti. Saikat's got some real juice to bring to the table. 💪

anywayz, we'll see what happens... I mean, I know who's gonna win (Wiener 🙄), but like... let's not get ahead of ourselves here 😂
 
🤔 I'm not sure about this whole thing... It seems like a lot of people want a change, but will it actually happen? I mean, Pelosi's been out of the spotlight for a bit, but she still has her finger on the pulse of what's going on in Cali. And now Wiener's jumping into the fray with his housing and climate action vibes... 🌎💡 That's some serious good stuff right there. But at the same time, I'm not sure if Chakrabarti's got the right credentials to take on the big boys in DC. What do you guys think? Can a new face really shake things up or is this just another cycle of the same old thing? 🤷‍♂️
 
I'm kinda excited about this - it feels like the Democrats are finally shaking things up, you know? I mean, Nancy Pelosi stepping down is a big deal, and now these two newbies are throwing their hats into the ring. Scott Wiener seems like a solid choice, he's been working hard on housing and climate issues for years, and Saikat Chakrabarti has some serious experience under his belt having worked with AOC and all.

But at the same time, I'm not sure if they can really compete against the big names in San Francisco politics. It's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out - are they gonna be able to bring a fresh perspective to the table or just get lost in the shuffle? 🤔
