Children among victims in Russian strikes, hours after Trump-Putin talks shelved

Russia has launched a wave of devastating attacks on Ukraine, killing at least seven people including two children in the process. The strikes, which included Russian drones and missiles, hit several areas, including the city of Kharkiv, where a kindergarten was targeted.

The attack comes just hours after US President Donald Trump cancelled his planned summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing concerns over Russia's continued involvement in Ukraine. However, Kremlin officials claim that the talks are still on, with a date yet to be confirmed.

The strikes in Kharkiv left dozens of people wounded, including six children, and brought the city to a standstill as rescue teams struggled to extinguish fires in residential buildings. The capital Kyiv also came under attack, with Russian forces targeting energy infrastructure and leaving thousands without electricity and water.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of failing to put enough pressure on Moscow for its continued involvement in the conflict, saying that the shelving of the Trump-Putin summit is a result of his request for long-range missiles.

The situation remains volatile as officials on both sides continue to trade barbs and negotiate over the ongoing crisis.

I'm so worried about Ukraine right now πŸ€• it's like they're caught in this never-ending nightmare. Those attacks on Kharkiv are just heartbreaking, especially targeting a kindergarten... can you even imagine? 😱 And the fact that rescue teams had to deal with fires and all that chaos must've been super tough for them.

I'm also trying to understand why these leaders keep canceling summits when we really need them to talk it out πŸ€” like, don't get me wrong, I trust Ukraine's President Zelensky, but come on, Russia's not giving an inch... Putin needs to figure a way to de-escalate this situation ASAP. And what about all the innocent civilians caught in the middle? We need some serious diplomacy here 🀝.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this news 🀯... like what's going on in Ukraine? I know it's all about Russia and their attacks, but it seems so confusing... they're saying one thing, then another... I don't get how all these presidents are involved and why Trump cancelled his meeting with Putin. Is that a big deal? And what's up with the drones and missiles? Can someone explain it to me in simple terms πŸ˜•? Oh, and btw, did you hear about that new iPhone release? I'm thinking of getting one πŸ“±

Ugh, this is getting so messed up 🀯... Can't these guys just talk it out already? The fact that Russia's launching attacks left a kindergarten on fire... like what even is the point of that? 😱 It's not like Ukraine's gonna back down or anything. And Trump cancelling the summit because Ukraine asked for more missiles? That's just gonna make things worse, I think. Putin's always playing games with his words, and now it feels like he's just using diplomacy to cover up what he's really doing... πŸ€” The situation in Kharkiv is horrific - all those people hurt, homes destroyed... can't we just find a peaceful solution? πŸ’”

🚨 what's going on with these leaders, can't they just talk it out already? all this back and forth is just escalating things and putting innocent lives at risk 🀯 the US cancelled the summit because of Ukraine's request for long-range missiles, but why not address the root cause from the start? πŸ€” and what's up with the Kremlin saying the talks are still on when we know they've already backed out? sounds like just another excuse to me πŸ™„

What's up with these world leaders always cancelling plans at the last minute? Can't they just have one serious conversation without it turning into a PR stunt? I mean, I get that Trump's all about himself and Putin's got his own agenda going on, but can't we just focus on fixing this mess in Ukraine for once? It's like they're more worried about their own egos than actual human lives. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ‘€ And honestly, Russia's not exactly covering themselves in glory here... those drone strikes were brutal! 😱 How many innocent people had to get caught in the crossfire? πŸ€•

omg, this is getting so outta hand 🀯! can't believe what's happening in Ukraine rn. it's like, one minute you're trying to have a peaceful summit with Russia, next thing you know, they're dropping bombs all over the place πŸ₯ƒπŸ˜±. and of course, Russia says it's still on, but i highly doubt that πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. what's going on with these leaders?! can't they see how their actions are affecting innocent people like kids just trying to go to kindergarten? πŸ€• i'm so done with all the drama & politics πŸ™„. all i want is peace and an end to this violence ❀️.

this is so sad what's going on in ukraine ppl have to suffer so much these kids getting killed its just not right πŸ€•πŸ’” at least 7 people dead including two little ones i mean, can't we all just get along? the attacks are getting more intense and it's not good for anyone involved i feel bad for the city of kharkiv and kyiv too. president zelensky is right that russia should be doing more to stop its involvement in ukraine but at the same time, trump cancelling the summit makes me wonder if anything will change soon πŸ€”πŸ’

I'm really worried about what's happening in Ukraine rn πŸ€•. Seven people, including two kids, are dead... that's just heartbreaking. And it's not like they were just random targets, either - a kindergarten got hit. I mean, what kind of monster does that? 😱

But at the same time, I'm kinda frustrated with Trump for cancelling the summit. Like, can't he just have a sit-down and talk to Putin about this already? It's not like it's gonna solve anything if they don't try... but on the other hand, what's going to happen if they do try and it all falls apart again? 🀯

And I'm not even gonna get started on how Russia's drone and missile attacks are affecting innocent civilians. It's just so inhumane. How can you just bomb a city like that without thinking about the people who live there?! 😑

😩 just heard about this latest wave of attacks in Ukraine πŸŒͺ️ it's heartbreaking to see kids get caught in the crossfire, especially a kindergarten being targeted 😭 like what's Russia thinking? are they trying to drive everyone crazy? πŸ’₯ this summit thingy got cancelled for good reason, no need for more bloodshed on either side πŸ’” ukraine needs some serious support and protection from these aggressive actions 🀝

🚨πŸ’₯ Another bloody day in Ukraine πŸ€•... can't believe those Russians don't care about innocent lives lost πŸ’”. Canceling that summit was a smart move by Trump, now if only Putin would listen to Zelensky, this wouldn't be happening πŸ™„. I mean, what's the point of all these talks if not a real resolution? Meanwhile, Ukraine's people are struggling without power and water... it's heartbreaking πŸ’§. Can't we just talk this out like civilized humans? 😩

I'm really worried about this escalating situation 😱. I mean, can't we all just talk it out instead of resorting to violence? Russia launching a wave of attacks in Ukraine is just horrific 🀯. And now with the US President cancelling the summit, it's like a domino effect... will things ever get better?

I'm also not sure about these long-range missiles that Ukraine is asking for. Are they really worth the risk? It feels like we're just getting drawn into another messy conflict βš”οΈ. And what about the innocent civilians caught in the crossfire? We need to think about how our actions are affecting people's lives, not just our own interests πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

I'm all for diplomacy and finding peaceful solutions, but sometimes I feel like we're just making things worse πŸ’”. Can't we find a way to resolve our differences without resorting to force?

πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Can you believe this? Russia launches a wave of attacks, kinda like when my internet connection decides to join in on the fun πŸ˜‚. But seriously, who needs kids in a kindergarten as collateral damage? Not cute, not cool πŸ™…β€β™‚οΈ. And Trump cancelling the summit? Sounds like he's trying to avoid getting his hands dirty... or should I say, Putin's? 😜. Anyway, I guess this is what they mean by 'tense' diplomatic relations πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. Volodymyr Zelensky wants long-range missiles? Maybe Russia just needs a bigger budget for their drone squad πŸš€. This conflict is getting more complicated than a Netflix rom-com - can someone please get the happy ending script? πŸ“Ί

OMG this is getting so scary πŸ€•! I cant even believe what's happening in Ukraine, it feels like something from a bad dream 🌧️. Seven people killed, including two kids?! That's just heartbreaking πŸ˜”. And to think the US and Russia were supposed to meet up to talk about this but then Trump cancelled... what's going on? πŸ€” Is Putin really serious about talking things out or is he just playing a game? πŸ•ΉοΈ

And the fact that they're targeting energy infrastructure in Kyiv is just horrific πŸ’₯. Thousands without electricity and water, can you imagine?! It's like they're trying to suck the life out of the city 😩. I'm seriously worried about what will happen next... Ukraine needs our support now more than ever 🌟πŸ’ͺ

πŸ€• this is just so heartbreaking especially with those two kids lost in the kindergarten attack... it's like the world is watching but not doing enough to stop these atrocities 🌎. and now we're seeing more civilians getting caught in the crossfire which is just devastating... what can be done to put an end to all this violence? πŸ’”

can't believe we're still stuck in this whole mess... like what's next, are we gonna have a "world war 2: the reboot" 🀯? and honestly, who thought it was a good idea for Russia to target a kindergarten? πŸ™„ what's more devastating than killing innocent people, is destroying their playgrounds too πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ. and don't even get me started on the kids, two of them are dead, can you imagine losing your little ones to war? 😩. it's just not right, it's like we're all stuck in some sort of terrible dream from which we can't wake up πŸ’”. and what's with all these cancelled summits, is this some kind of game of "let's pretend we care about finding a peaceful solution" πŸ€₯?

πŸ’” my heart goes out to all those affected by this senseless violence... these children should be playing, not caught in the middle of a war πŸ€• kharkiv is such a beautiful city, i can only imagine how scary it must feel to live there with the threat of attack always looming... πŸŒƒ ukraine needs our support, both morally and financially, we cannot just sit back and watch as innocent lives are lost πŸ’ͺ

Man... can't believe what's happening in Ukraine right now πŸ€•πŸŒŽ. I mean, seven people, including two kids, killed by Russian drones and missiles? That's just heartbreaking. And it's not like this is some new development - we've been hearing about this conflict for years now.

I feel for the civilians caught in the middle of all this. The images of fires raging in residential buildings, rescue teams scrambling to respond... it's just devastating. And on top of that, thousands without electricity and water? It's like they're being punished for something they didn't do.

And what's with these leaders and their games? Trump cancels the summit, but does he really think that's going to make a difference? It's all just talk at this point. Zelensky's right to demand more from Moscow, though - we can't keep sitting around while innocent lives are lost. The situation is so volatile... I just hope everyone stays safe 🀞

Just heard about this devastating attack on Ukraine πŸ€•, my heart is with those affected by it. The thought of kids being killed in a kindergarten is just heartbreaking 😭. It's like something out of a nightmare. And now US President Trump cancels his summit with Putin and then says the talks are still on? Like, what even is going on here πŸ™„? I feel like we're stuck in this loop where no one's willing to make any decisions or take responsibility for their actions.

And it's not just Ukraine that's suffering – people all over the world are feeling the effects of this crisis. The fact that thousands are without electricity and water in Kyiv is just another example of how far-reaching this conflict is πŸ’”. I hope world leaders can put aside their differences and work towards a peaceful solution, but it feels like we're taking one step back after another πŸ˜•.
