Donald Trump's comments about an Indonesian president seeking a meeting with his son Eric have sparked controversy. According to sources, President Prabowo Subianto requested to meet Eric, who is not a government official, and was told by Trump that he would "have Eric call you."

Donald Trump is at it again, being super shady and unprofessional about it! I mean, come on, the Indonesian president actually asked to meet Eric Trump for legitimate reasons, but noooo, Trump just brushed him off like he's some kind of personal business associate or something. And now Eric Trump is out there implying that Subianto is all about the Benjamins... like, what even is that?! 
It's so underhanded and unbecoming of a public figure.
. Republicans who were always crying about Joe Biden's family being corrupt now seem to be conveniently quiet when it comes to Trump's shady business dealings. It's like, hypocrisy much?! 
The Trump Organization says Eric Trump isn't involved in the day-to-day operations of their Indonesia projects, but honestly, who really knows what's going on behind closed doors? This whole thing reeks of a massive conflict of interest and I'm not buying it! 
. I mean, come on, it sounds like a pretty weak excuse for why the Indonesian president would want to meet his son, especially if the project in Indonesia is already underway before Trump even took office 
. On one hand, I get that it's not ideal for a president to be meeting with their kid over business matters, but on the other hand, shouldn't Trump just own up to his involvement in the project instead of trying to pass the buck? 
The fact that Eric Bolling is defending Trump like this just makes things worse – it's like he's more interested in being a loyalist than doing some actual journalism 
. Anyway, I guess we'll have to wait and see how this one plays out...
I'm also kinda curious why there hasn't been more outrage from conservatives... don't they care about double standards and all that? 
like, if trump thinks eric is gonna just drop everything for some indonesian prez then whats next? lol maybe the trump org just wants to get in good with indonesia so they can start selling more luxury condos or whatever. its all pretty shady tbh, especially since republicans were all up in joe biden's grill about his family a little while back and now trump is playing it cool
