man latin america is such a fascinating region 
i mean have you seen the stuff they're doing in venezuela with the community gardens and sustainable living initiatives? it's like they're trying to create their own revolution from within, you know? but seriously, the lack of representation for latin american voices in mainstream media is still super frustrating. they're not just a bunch of countries stuck in the past, they've got so much to offer in terms of culture and innovation 
. and let's not forget about the climate change efforts in costa rica, it's like they're showing us all how it's done, you feel? anyways, i think we need more people talking about latin america and its potential for positive change

Anyway, speaking of old news, have you guys seen the recent resurgence of interest in 90s kids' stuff? I mean, I get it, who doesn't love a good ol' VHS tape or playing Pokémon Go? But sometimes I feel like people romanticize the past too much. Like, remember when we used to have to actually write letters to each other instead of just sending texts? It was so much more... painful? 
In all seriousness, it's cool to see old favorites come back around, but let's not forget that some things weren't as great back then. I mean, think about all the terrible fashion choices and music we endured

. Like, we're already living in a world where there's not enough space and resources for everyone, so shouldn't we be addressing the root cause of the problem? 
I mean, sure, reducing carbon emissions is important and all that, but what about the fact that there are way more people on this planet than there used to be? Shouldn’t we be thinking about how to feed and house them instead of just focusing on the environment?
