Jude Bellingham back in scoring form as Real Madrid edge out Juventus

Jude Bellingham scored his first goal of the season in Real Madrid's 1-0 win over Juventus, sparking jubilation from the Santiago Bernabéu crowd. The Belgian midfielder was instrumental in the match, which was marked by both teams' defensive solidity and their ability to create scoring opportunities.

Real Madrid dominated possession, 66%-34%, but Juventus threatened in transition, particularly through Pierre Kalulu's running and Dusan Vlahovic's link-up play. Despite these threats, Real Madrid took control as the match wore on, with Aurélien Tchouaméni offering their most notable scoring chance.

Arda Guler was also a standout player for Real Madrid, using his neat footwork to create scoring opportunities. However, it was not until Kylian Mbappé's late shot was blocked by Michele Di Gregorio that Jude Bellingham finally broke the deadlock. The midfielder's goal was well-deserved, having looked comfortable throughout the match.

The victory marked a significant turning point in Real Madrid's Champions League campaign, with Igor Tudor's side now facing an uphill battle to stay in contention. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be buoyed by the return of Bellingham to scoring form and their improved defensive solidity.

Bellingham himself was thrilled with his first goal of the season, stating that it felt "unbelievable" after a long time without scoring. The midfielder's comments highlighted his renewed confidence and composure on the pitch, which bodes well for Real Madrid's remaining matches in the competition.

just watched this match and wow 66% possession doesn't sound like much but real madrid just wore juventus down 🤯 they had so many chances but didn't really create anything till arda guler came on 👍 he changed the game for real madrid, what a player! but bellingham's goal was also super satisfying, finally gets that first goal of the season 😅 hopefully he keeps scoring now and real madrid can make a comeback in the champions league 🤞

omg i love how real madrid is finally getting their act together 🤩! that goal from jude bellingham was like a weight off their shoulders 😌... and can we talk about arda guler's footwork skills? 🏃‍♂️ he's like the ultimate magician on the pitch ✨. but seriously, real madrid needs to keep this momentum going if they wanna stay in contention for the champions league title 🔥. the return of bellingham to scoring form is huge too - it's like a new lease on life for the team 🌟. now let's see if they can keep up the pressure and make some noise against their rivals 😏

🤔 I'm not sure if Jude Bellingham actually broke the deadlock himself, did Kylian Mbappé really have that shot blocked? 🙈 Anyway, Bellingham looked comfy out there and he definitely deserved that goal! 😊 Real Madrid's defensive solidity is looking super solid right now, hope they can keep it up. 🤞 The return of Bellingham to scoring form is a big boost for them, fingers crossed he stays in form! 💪

Ugh I'm so over this team's inconsistency! I mean, they just went 45 minutes without even having a clear chance, and then suddenly Jude Bellingham is like "hey world, I'm here!" 🤯 And of course he scores a winner because that's what superstars do. But seriously, it was such a relief to see them finally get on the board after being so stagnant for months. And let's be real, their defense has been a joke, but at least now they have Bellingham back in form and scoring goals. I'm still not convinced they're going to make a deep run in the Champions League though...

I'm not buying this whole "Bellingham is back to form" hype... 😒 I mean, he scored one goal out of a bunch of draws/low-scoring games, what's really impressive there? 🤔 And don't even get me started on the fact that Juventus barely threatened all game and still managed to lose. That's not exactly a testament to Real Madrid's greatness, if you ask me... 💭
