A man who was in a pest control van in Little Rock, Arkansas has recounted his terrifying experience of riding out an EF-3 tornado. The National Weather Service reported that the tornado had roared through Pulaski and Lonoke counties with estimated peak winds of 165 mph.

According to Cody Coombes, who rode out the storm inside his vehicle, he was able to survive thanks to the protective barrier and reinforced structure of the van. His harrowing account provides a glimpse into what it's like to face such intense weather conditions.

The tornado caused significant damage and loss of life in the area, with one person killed in North Little Rock and four people dead in Wynne. The National Weather Service reported that the EF-3 tornado was particularly destructive due to its high winds.

Witnesses have described the storm as "apocalyptic" and "intense", highlighting the danger posed by such extreme weather events. The incident serves as a reminder of the importance of taking necessary precautions during severe weather warnings.

As the storm subsided, Coombes emerged from his van shaken but alive. His experience provides a stark reminder of the power of nature and the need for vigilance in the face of severe weather warnings.
