New video said to show Syrian army shelling Aleppo’s Sheikh Maqsoud area

Syrian Forces Under Fire for Alleged Aleppo Shelling: New Video Released

A recent video released by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) appears to show Syrian army shelling in the heavily contested Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo. The footage, which has sparked outrage among human rights advocates, depicts a large ammunition and weapons depot belonging to the SDF being targeted by artillery fire.

Eyewitness accounts suggest that the shelling, which took place on January 9th, caused significant damage to the facility and left many civilians in the area without access to basic necessities. The Syrian army has denied any involvement in the attack, but the SDF has accused the regime of attempting to disrupt their operations in the region.

The video, which has been verified by multiple sources, shows a dramatic escalation of tensions between the two sides. With Aleppo remaining one of Syria's last major strongholds against government control, concerns are growing about the potential for further violence and instability in the already war-torn city.

As the conflict continues to rage on, human rights organizations are calling on all parties involved to adhere to international humanitarian law and respect the rights of civilians caught in the crossfire.

I'm getting really worried about Aleppo 🤕, it's like the whole world is watching but nobody's doing anything to stop this madness. I mean, what's going on with these videos? They're so grainy, you can barely see anything, but you can still tell the scale of destruction... and those civilians, they must be living in a nightmare right now 😩. The fact that the Syrian army is denying involvement just makes it all sound like some kind of propaganda tactic. And what's with the SDF being targeted? Are they just trying to disrupt their own operations or what? 🤔

🤯 SDF is like "us vs them" – can't they just talk it out? 🙄 Aleppo's getting hammered, innocent ppl sufferin'... when will we stop this senseless violence? 💔 The whole world's watching, time for some diplomacy! 😒

Ugh I'm so worried about this Aleppo thing 🤕 it's like they're gonna keep shelling each other till nobody's left standing 😩 my brain can't even process how many lives are at risk over some power struggle. Can we just talk about how to get these people out safely instead? I mean, I know there's politics involved but like what about the civilians caught in the middle? 🤷‍♀️

I'm not sure I totally buy into the Syrian army's denial about this whole thing... 🤔 The video does look pretty damning, and eyewitness accounts from the ground can be super trustworthy. But at the same time, it's hard to know what's really going on in Aleppo without all the different sides telling you their own story. 🙅‍♂️

I mean, I'm glad human rights orgs are speaking out about this - we gotta remember that civilians get caught in the middle and they need our support 🌎. But we also need to be careful not to take sides without all the facts... Aleppo is a super complex situation, and it's not like we can just walk into it and expect everything to be clear-cut 🤯.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that this whole thing makes me super uneasy... ⚠️ We gotta keep an eye on this and make sure we're not just perpetuating more violence without really understanding the situation 💥.

I'm really worried about what's happening in Aleppo 🤕. These shelling incidents just show how desperate everyone is to win the war, but at what cost? I mean, innocent people are stuck in the middle, trying to survive. It's like they're getting used as pawns on a huge game board.

I'm all for whoever fights for freedom and human rights, but can't we find a way to stop this senseless violence? The images of that ammunition depot being targeted are just heartbreaking – what about those people who lived there?! We need to keep calling out these atrocities and pushing for peace. It's not going to be easy, but I know we can do it 💪🌎

I'm getting really worried about Aleppo 😟 it's like they're just dragging out this war for years now. I mean, what's the point of fighting if you're not gonna actually make a move on the city? It feels like nobody's gonna end up in control here. And those civilians caught in the middle are just getting more and more hurt 🤕. Can't we all just try to find some way to coexist here without putting so many lives at risk? I'm tired of seeing these videos come out every now and then, it's like Groundhog Day 😩

🤔 I'm not sure what's more concerning here - the shelling itself or the lack of accountability from either side. This video is pretty damning evidence, and it's surprising that the Syrian army would deny involvement when eyewitnesses are willing to come forward with the same story.

It's also worrying that Aleppo remains a hotly contested area, with both sides dug in and neither showing any signs of backing down. The fact that the SDF is accused of hoarding ammunition and weapons just adds another layer of complexity to the situation.

What I'd love to see is some serious investigation into this incident - not by either side, but by an independent group or organization. We need to make sure that civilians are being protected and that everyone's held accountable for their actions. This conflict has been going on for years, and it's time for some real progress, not just more accusations and denials. 🤷

idk why ppl are so up in arms about this video lol 🤷‍♂️ syrian army's just tryna protect themselves from the sdf's constant attacks, maybe they took a shot at that depot by mistake? and what's with all these "human rights" groups always looking for fault? can't they just acknowledge both sides are messed up in this situation? Aleppo's been under siege for years, maybe it's time we stop playing hero and start seeing the bigger picture 🤔

Man, this Aleppo situation is getting crazy 🤯! I mean, one side says they're not behind the shelling, and the other side is like "nope, we totally are" 😂. Can't a rebel just get some peace around here? On a serious note tho, it's super sketchy when artillery fire goes off in residential areas, civilians caught in the crossfire... yikes 🤕! Guess this video will keep stirring up drama 💥! Can't wait to see how this one plays out ⏰... probably more explosions and fleeing civilians 😩.

"It is better to offer no excuse than a bad one." 🤔
The situation in Aleppo is getting increasingly dire, and it's heartbreaking to see innocent civilians caught in the middle of this conflict. The video released by the SDF paints a disturbing picture, and I can only hope that all parties involved will take responsibility for their actions and work towards finding a peaceful resolution. 💔

Ugh, this is just getting ridiculous 🤯. Back in my day, we didn't see this level of violence and destruction in Syria or anywhere else for that matter. Aleppo's been a disaster zone for years and it's like no one's doing anything to stop it 😩. The SDF's got the right to defend themselves, but targeting a warehouse full of ammo? That's just insane 💣. And what about all those civilians stuck in the crossfire? It's heartbreaking 🤕. We need more accountability on both sides and an end to this senseless violence ASAP ⏰. Can't we just have a peaceful resolution for once? 🙄

Ugh, this Aleppo situation is getting so out of hand 🤯! Can't we just have a peaceful resolution to this war already? I mean, I get that both sides are fighting for what they think is right, but all these innocent people getting caught in the middle... it's heartbreaking 😔. And now with this new video showing Syrian army shelling in Aleppo, I'm even more worried about civilians trying to survive amidst all this chaos 💥. Can't we just talk things out and work towards a solution that benefits everyone? 🤝 It's not too much to ask for, right?

I don’t usually comment but I think this situation with Aleppo is getting super complex 🤯... it's like, the Syrian army and SDF are both trying to control this one area and now they're shelling each other's positions? It's just so sad for all those innocent civilians caught in the middle. And can we talk about how Aleppo is basically the last thing holding Syria together right now? 🤔 I mean, what if things escalate even further? It'll be like, super hard to recover from... or even prevent another massive refugee crisis 👀.

man this new video is straight fire 🔥! i cant believe they were targeting an sdf base like that its so reckless. and yeah Aleppo is still a mess 🤯 i mean who wants to be stuck in the middle of all this conflict? ive been following this situation for ages and im just worried it's gonna get even worse. ugh human rights orgs are trying to keep people accountable but it feels like no matter what they do, ppl are still getting hurt 💔

Just watched that new video of Aleppo shelling and I'm totally shook 😱🌪️. Can't believe those Syrian army forces think they can just fire away without thinking about the innocent lives at risk #StopTheViolence #AleppoDeservesBetter 🤕. And what's with all these artillery attacks? Don't they know there are people trying to live their lives amidst all this chaos? 😔 It's not just about winning the war, it's about preserving human rights and dignity #HumanitarianLawMatters 💖. We need to put pressure on our leaders to get involved and broker peace ASAP before more civilians get hurt 🤞💪

😱 this Aleppo situation is getting super messed up 🤯, I'm watching these vids and it's like they're taking out a giant ammo dump right next to civilian homes 🚨, how are ppl supposed to survive? and now there's a new video that shows the Syrian army denying any involvement but it looks like they're telling a big fat lie 👀, gotta keep an eye on this one...

I saw this video and it's really sad 🤕... The fact that civilians got hurt just because of a shelling attack makes me think about how we can make a difference in our own communities 🌎. We need to look around us, see where there's conflict or suffering, and try to be peacemakers 💡. It's not always easy, but every small act of kindness or compassion can add up to something big ❤️... I think we should all strive to be the voice for those who don't have one 🗣️.

omg guys this is getting soooo serious 🤯 like what's going on with these shells just being dropped randomly in civilian areas?! it's not okay at all, you know? I'm no expert but it seems to me that both sides are kinda doing their own thing and putting lives at risk. Aleppo is already a disaster zone why do we need more shelling?! 🤕 seriously though we gotta keep an eye on this situation 'cause innocent ppl are getting hurt 😔

🤦‍♂️ I'm like 3 days late to this thread... I saw this video too and it's wild how the SDF is trying to pin this on the Syrian army. The footage looks super intense and it's crazy that Aleppo is still a major battleground. I mean, have you guys seen the state of Syria lately? It's been like 10 years since the whole thing started and nobody's really sure who's winning or losing anymore 🤷‍♂️. I'm just worried about all the innocent people caught in the middle. Can we please just focus on getting them some basic human rights for once? 🙏
