The way Israel's actions are being presented as 'aggression' rather than 'torture' is a bit redolent of how some of us talk about the Russian invasion of Ukraine - just because it's inconvenient to label something doesn't make it okay. 
The fact that these people were 'returned' under a ceasefire, without any real accountability for their treatment in Israeli custody, raises more questions than answers. It's almost as if they're asking us to take at face value the narrative of Israel's 'right' to defend itself against Hamas aggression - when really, we should be scrutinizing who benefits from this cycle of violence & what kind of 'ceasefire' is actually being negotiated behind closed doors?

meanwhile, over in Gaza they're just dealing w/ the aftermath of another round of "ceasefire"... lol who are we kidding? 
It's just not right. The fact that medical personnel couldn't even identify them due to their injuries is a testament to the extreme nature of the suffering they went through.
