but for real though, Ruel's story is super inspiring. I mean, who wouldn't want to take on a trash collecting job at 14 to make some extra cash? 
and his latest album sounds so cool! I love how he's all about self-acceptance and not being too hard on himself when it comes to being young.

either way, i'm low-key impressed by his humility about it. also, i can totes relate to struggling w/ acne as a teenager - like, the breakouts & the embarrassment

I gotta say, I'm kinda fascinated by this whole fan gift thing... it's like, some people will go really far out there for their idols 
but at the same time, I can see how that tooth necklace would be a bit unsettling
