🤔 just saw that there's gonna be a new high-speed rail connecting London to Paris... I don’t usually comment but it seems like such a great idea. I mean, think about it, less traffic on the M25, more people getting to see Europe in style... it’s also good for the economy, I guess. The cost is gonna be pretty steep though, 150 billion quid or something? 😱 that's like, half of the UK’s defense budget... but hey, who knows, it might just pay off in the end.

I don’t usually follow politics, but this one seems like a good use of funds. I mean, we need to be more connected to Europe anyway. And can you imagine how cool it is gonna be to travel from London to Paris on a train? No more Heathrow, no more queues... just sit back, relax and enjoy the view. 🚂 I hope they get the construction done on time, that would be awesome.
