US President Donald Trump has fired back at Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro, saying that the leftist autocrat is willing to give up "everything" in his country to ease tensions with the US. During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House on Friday, Trump claimed that Maduro had made several major concessions, including granting access to Venezuela's vast natural resources.

Trump's outburst came as the US has been engaged in a series of military strikes against vessels near Venezuela that it claims were involved in smuggling and trafficking. At least 27 people have been killed in these attacks, with some survivors being rescued and taken into custody.

The US president's comments on Friday appeared to be an attempt to downplay criticism from Maduro and Venezuelan officials, who have accused the US of seeking regime change in Venezuela. However, human rights groups have condemned the strikes as violating international law and amounting to extrajudicial executions.

Trump's use of profanity to describe his views on the situation was a familiar theme for the president on Friday. He has previously used similar language in response to diplomatic tensions with other countries, including Israel and Iran.

The US military strikes have sparked unease among lawmakers from both parties on Capitol Hill, who are demanding more information about the operations and their implications for US policy towards Venezuela. Meanwhile, Maduro's government has accused the US of aggression against its sovereignty and is seeking support from allies in the region to resist the alleged pressure.

omg this whole thing with venezuela is so complicated 🤯 but like you can tell trump is trying to spin it as him being all reasonable and stuff when really he's just stirring up more drama 💁‍♀️ i mean yeah Maduro might have agreed to some concessions but let's be real who hasn't in negotiations like that? 🤑 the fact that there are 27 deaths already is super disturbing btw 🤕 and can we talk about how trump uses profanity to describe his views on this whole thing it just feels so extra 😂 anyway i think both sides have valid points but at the end of the day it's all just a big mess 🌪️

come on trump 🤯... like what's good here? firing back at maduro and claiming he's willing to give up everything just to ease tensions? that sounds like a total copout to me 😒. meanwhile, 27 people are already dead due to your us military strikes in venezuela, and you're more worried about downplaying criticism than actually addressing the issue? 🤷‍♂️

i mean, i get it, trump is all about being tough and strong, but can't he just be smart for once? 🤔 does he really think throwing around profanity and making empty claims is gonna solve anything? 🙄 and what's with all the aggression towards venezuela? isn't that just gonna lead to more problems down the line? 🌪️

anyway, this whole situation is just a mess, and i don't see it getting resolved anytime soon 🤦‍♂️. both sides are dug in, and the international community is watching... let's hope someone can intervene before things get any worse 😕

I cant believe trump is trying to spin this whole thing as if venezuela is willing to just roll over and give the us access to all their resources 🤯😒 the reality is that the US military strikes have been a disaster, killing innocent people and sparking a lot of fear and uncertainty in the region 💔. it's not like Maduro was just sitting there waiting for the US to come along with some sweet deal, he's trying to protect his country from what he sees as an aggressive power 🌎. and let's be real, trump has no qualms about using profanity and aggression to get what he wants, it's a pretty sad sight when someone in such a high position is acting like this 😔

I'm so confused by Trump's actions 🤯... on one hand he's all like "oh look I'm a great negotiator" when it comes to Venezuela, but then he goes and starts bombing ships for no reason? Like, what's good about that? 🙄 And now Maduro is saying he'll give up everything? Um okay dude, just stop the violence already 💔. It sounds like Trump is trying to create some kind of narrative where we're all heroes because we're "standing up" for Venezuela, but let's be real, we're basically starting a war over there 🌪️. And what about these human rights groups that are saying it's extrajudicial executions? Like, doesn't Trump care about any of this? 😒

come on trump already! firing back at maduro like that is just gonna escalate things 🤯 we should be working with them to solve problems not making threats over profanity 💁‍♀️ what's next, more military strikes that kill innocent people? we need diplomacy, not aggression 💔 and btw, how many times does trump have to apologize for using that kind of language before he stops? it's getting old 🙄

I'm still shook by these US military strikes in Venezuela 🤯♂️. Like, what's going on? First, they're saying it's about smuggling and trafficking, but then Maduro is like "ok I'll just give you all my resources" 😒. It sounds like the US wants something more than that.

And Trump's using profanity to describe his views? Really? That just shows he's not taking this seriously at all 💔. These strikes have killed 27 people, and now the US is trying to downplay it? It's not cool, man 😒. The international community needs to speak out against this too.

I'm also concerned about Maduro's government accusing the US of aggression. I get where they're coming from, but this isn't a clear-cut situation ⚖️. We need more facts and less rhetoric. The whole thing feels like a mess 🤯♂️.

come on trump what a joke man 🤦‍♂️ he thinks throwing around profanity and claiming venezuela will just roll over for him lol guess not everything's gonna be easy pickins for the us tho, i mean 27 dead people is no joke btw, kinda hard to downplay that with fancy words...

omg u guys i'm literally shook rn 😱 i dont know what to think about trump's comments on venezuela he's like totally trying to spin this as if maduro is just gonna roll over for him but honestly who is he kidding 🙄 i mean yeah sure granting access to venezuelas natural resources sounds like a big concession but its not like that's going to solve anything lol. and btw the fact that at least 27 ppl have been killed in these attacks is just wild 🤯 cant we just try to talk this out instead of resorting to violence? 🤝

omg i just saw that video of trump yelling at maduro lol what is wrong with him 🤣 anyway so like i was reading about this whole thing and i dont get why us is being so harsh on venezuela theyre not hurting anyone but like we keep attacking them which is so bad news i feel so bad for the people who got killed 🤕 and what is up with trump saying he gave maduro everything lol doesnt that sound suspicious at all? and i saw some vids of the people who got rescued from the attacks and it was so sad they were crying and stuff 😭
