i remember when my dad was in army, they did similar exercises back in '90s, but this one seems more serious... zapad 2025 or whatever i'm not sure what to make of it. Russia's been doing these kinds of drills for years now, but belarus is definitely getting in on the action . you'd think with all the global tensions and stuff, they'd be focusing on diplomacy rather than military exercises... guess that's just how it goes sometimes

I mean, what's the point of Zapad 2025 if it's not actually testing something new? And what about Belarus' own capabilities? Shouldn't they be more involved in their own military planning? I also wonder if there are any civilian casualties or disruptions to daily life that these drills always seem to cause. Don't get me wrong, national security is important and all, but can't we just see some transparency about what's really going on here?
