but at the same time, I don't think it's surprising that some platforms aren't doing enough to crack down on it. I mean, if they're not taking action against users who are violating their terms of service, how do you expect them to keep up with all the different cases? It's like trying to put out fires with a firehose, but only spraying water at random intervals...
And yeah, it is messed up that people are getting courted for this stuff in China, but on the other hand, I feel bad for these individuals who have no idea their personal lives were being broadcast online. It's like they're stuck between having their private life invaded and not being able to do anything about it
The thing that really grinds my gears is how hard it is to get this stuff taken down from the internet in the first place. I mean, we all know the 'dark web' exists for a reason...
