. First of all, I don't get why Trump is being so optimistic about meeting with Putin after the White House didn't even offer Ukraine those missiles

I mean, can you believe Russia is still trying to get Ukraine to do their bidding? Like, Volodymyr Zelenskyy's all "nope, not gonna happen" and they're like "oh okay, we'll just drone you instead". 
The US is all "sorry buddy, can't help you out" and Russia's like "lol, that's why I have a bunch of extra drones". Meanwhile, Putin's got Trump on the phone going "let's be buddies"... meanwhile, Ukraine's over here just trying to not get blown up
