Thune reveals to MSNBC he’s offered Democrats a vote on Obamacare subsidies

🤔 so Thune is basically offering Democrats a 'get out of jail free' card if they support Republican funding legislation 🤑 and in return, he's throwing them some crumbs with reforms and income caps... it sounds like a pretty desperate move to me 😬 but at the same time, I guess it's better than nothing? 💸 the thing is, Democrats are still super skeptical about Republicans' intentions and who can blame 'em? 🤷‍♀️ this whole situation is just making everyone so anxious and stressed out... can't we all just get along? 🙅‍♂️💕 but in all seriousness, it's gonna be a long time before we see any real progress on this if you ask me 😐

OMG u guys 🤯 Senate Majority Leader John Thune is literally trying to negotiate with Democrats on extending Obamacare subsidies! Like, I know Republicans have been open to talks about this for ages, but this is a BIG DEAL! 😱 He's offering them a vote on the issue and reforms & income caps if they agree to support Republican funding legislation. Idk what's gonna happen but I'm rooting 4 Thune 🙏. He seems more reasonable than other GOP leaders who think tax credits should just magically fix everything. Thunne is like "Hey Dems, let's talk" whereas others are all "Nuh-uh". Like, can we pls just have a calm and rational convo? 😩. The shutdown is getting CRAZY 🚨, but maybe this is the start of something good! Fingers crossed 🤞 for a compromise! 💕

🤔 so I think Thune is just trying to find common ground here, you know? He's open to negotiations and acknowledges the impact of expiring subsidies on people who need 'em most. But at the same time, he's not willing to throw money around like there's no tomorrow 💸. The $35 billion annual cost is still a big number, but I guess it's better than the Congressional Budget Office's estimate 🤑. Thune seems reasonable, but I'm not sure if Democrats will bite 🤷‍♂️. Still, this new development gives us hope that maybe, just maybe, we can get to a compromise 🤞. Who knows what'll happen before Thanksgiving? ⏰

idk about this... i mean, Thune seems like he's trying to get ahead of things by offering Democrats a vote on extending Obamacare subsidies. but honestly, it feels like a power play. i'm not sure why they need to make such a big deal out of it. can't they just agree on something? and what's with the income caps? seems kinda unfair. still, i suppose it's better than nothing... 😐 the fact that Thune is willing to negotiate at all is a good sign, but we'll see how far he's willing to go.

I'm kinda glad Thune is trying to make a move here 🤔, but I gotta say, it feels like more of the same to me 😐. Offering a vote in exchange for opening the government? That's not exactly a bold concession, if you ask me 🙄. And what's with the income caps and reforms? Are they trying to make Obamacare less accessible to people who need it most? 🤷‍♂️

I'm also skeptical about Thune's assurances that Democrats will get a vote on this issue 🚫. We've seen this dance play out before, and I just can't shake the feeling that Republicans are more interested in scoring political points than actually finding a solution 💸.

That being said, it's better than nothing, right? 😊 Maybe Thune is genuinely trying to find common ground here 👀. But for now, I'll be keeping my eye on this one 🕵️‍♂️.
