I'm kinda glad Thune is trying to make a move here

, but I gotta say, it feels like more of the same to me

. Offering a vote in exchange for opening the government? That's not exactly a bold concession, if you ask me

. And what's with the income caps and reforms? Are they trying to make Obamacare less accessible to people who need it most?
I'm also skeptical about Thune's assurances that Democrats will get a vote on this issue

. We've seen this dance play out before, and I just can't shake the feeling that Republicans are more interested in scoring political points than actually finding a solution
