I got a friend who's always been a bit of a teeth grinder at night
. Apparently, it's super common for people to do this without even realizing it
! But I'm like "duh, why didn't you know about that?"
. It makes sense though, stress and anxiety can definitely contribute to it
.
I think what's wild is how it can affect your oral health and overall sleep quality
. And honestly, a custom nightguard sounds like a solid solution
. But I'm also all about trying relaxation techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy
. It's just one of those things where you gotta take care of your whole body, not just the teeth
.
I wish more people knew about this stuff, though
. Like, I know it's not super rare or anything, but still...
.
