Ugh, I just can't help but feel like we're losing some of the progressive spirit in Finland
. Sanna Marin's departure as PM is a bummer, especially since she was only 37 and had been making waves with her youthful leadership style
. It's sad to see her party's lavish spending on pensions and education coming back to haunt them. And what's up with the pro-business platform of the NCP? It feels like they're just talking out of their corporate suits rather than actually listening to the people
.
I'm also curious to see how Marin's Social Democrats will navigate this new coalition government, especially since they're not working with the Finns Party. Will they be able to bring some much-needed progressive energy back into Finnish politics? I hope so, because we need more leaders like Marin who aren't afraid to take risks and challenge the status quo
