"Saturdays are reserved for the truth-seekers, and '48 Hours' is where you'll find it," says a veteran journalist on CBS's flagship true-crime series.

Here's what you need to know about the schedule.

The 38th season of "48 Hours" premiered on September 27, 2025, at 10/9c. If you miss the live broadcast, don't worry - all episodes will be available to stream on Paramount+ and can also be found on Pluto TV and CBS News 24/7 from 4-10 p.m. ET.

For those who prefer their true crime fix at any time of day or night, the "48 Hours" FAST Channel is streaming full episodes 24/7, completely free with ads. You can catch it on the CBSNews.com website, Pluto TV, Paramount+, and various partner channels.

In addition to catching up on past episodes, fans also get to enjoy exclusive podcasts like "48 Hours," "Post Mortem," and "My Life of Crime."

Looking ahead, be sure to tune in for three new episodes this October: "My Uncle Joe's Murder," "Murder in the Parking Garage" (with a repeat episode from September 13), and "The Boy Who Killed His Twin."

OMG u guys! I'm so stoked that they're airing more true crime episodes on Saturdays 🕰️💻. Like, it's perfect for us weekend warriors who need our fix of adrenaline & intrigue before the week gets busy again 😅. And yay for streaming options too - love that we can catch up whenever we want! 📺👍

I'm wondering what truth is when it comes to these true-crime stories... are we really uncovering the truth or just scratching the surface of human nature's darker side? It feels like we're morbidly curious about the imperfect, the flawed, and the fallen. I mean, do we watch "48 Hours" because we genuinely want to understand what drove someone to commit a crime, or is it because we're fascinated by the chaos that ensues when our carefully constructed worlds are shattered? And does the fact that these stories get such a huge following say something about us as a society - are we addicted to the thrill of the unknown, the excitement of the unexplained?

just started watching 48 hours and I'm already hooked 🤯! i love how they dive into these super intense cases and try to piece together what really happened. i mean, the whole '38th season' thing is kinda cool - like, are we gonna get some major updates or insights from all the seasons combined? 🤔 plus, having podcasts and streaming options on demand is a total game changer for true crime fans like me 📺💻

I'm so over how many true crime shows are coming out every season 🤯. It feels like they're sucking all the life out of the airwaves. Can't we just watch Netflix for once without being bombarded with '48 Hours' reruns? And don't even get me started on the FAST Channel - who thought it was a good idea to stream crime shows 24/7? I mean, can't people have a break from all that violence and drama for one day? 🙄

I'm kinda curious about how they're gonna make true crime so engaging on Saturdays now that it's dedicated day 😒. I mean, isn't every weekend supposed to be chill time? But at the same time, if '48 Hours' is really bringing people together to watch and talk about these wild cases, then I guess it's worth a shot 🤔. I just wish they'd start streaming some more episodes on Pluto TV, it's getting kinda pricey for me 🤑

omg have you seen 48 hours lately?! 🤯 i'm hooked on that show every week. i love how they dive into the depths of these crazy true crime cases. like, what really happened behind those scenes? and those podcasts are so fascinating too! "post mortem" sounds like a must-listen... do you guys watch 48 hours or post mortem? 📺💭

I'm so done with watching true crime shows on Saturdays! Can't they just let us relax after a long week of work? 🤯 I know some people love 'em, but honestly, it's like we're all just glued to our screens waiting for the next episode. And what's with the format? 48 hours of non-stop drama and mystery? My brain can only handle so much 💤. Give me a good ol' fashioned DIY project any day! Like, have you guys tried making your own terrariums? It's super relaxing and you get to see something beautiful grow 🌱🏠

I'm so obsessed with true crime lately 🤯 and I think it's so cool that "48 Hours" is bringing back Saturdays for all things investigative. I mean, who doesn't love a good mystery to solve? 🧐 And yay for more episodes being available on streaming platforms - I can finally catch up on everything I missed! The podcast exclusives sound awesome too, I'm def checking out "Post Mortem" and "My Life of Crime". October's lineup looks lit, especially with "The Boy Who Killed His Twin" - can't wait to dive into that one 💀

I'm loving the true crime vibes right now 🧐! That '48 Hours' schedule looks super convenient for us binge-watchers – can't wait to dive into some juicy cases. The fact that they're streaming it on Pluto TV and Paramount+ is a total win, especially with the FAST Channel offering free episodes 24/7 📺💥. And I'm intrigued by those exclusive podcasts, "Post Mortem" and "My Life of Crime"... adding another layer to my true crime obsession 😱. October's lineup sounds promising too – can't wait to see which cases they cover next 💔!

I'm so over how much our culture has shifted towards true-crime obsessed weekends 🤯. Like, can't we just have a chill Saturday without dissecting some murder mystery? I love a good whodunit as much as the next person, but it feels like everyone's just one day away from binge-watching 48 Hours and then immediately talking about it on social media... where else?! 😂 And don't even get me started on how many shows are popping up that claim to be all about "seeking the truth"... like, are we really living in a world where we need an entire TV show to validate our curiosity? 🤔 It's a bit much, if you ask me.

omg u guys 48 hrs is back!!! 🤯 i'm so down for more true crime fix, but can we talk about how old is this show? like isn't it due for a reboot or something? 🙄 anywayz, i heard they got new episodes coming out in october and i'm already making a playlist of all the clips i want to watch... btw, have u seen that one episode from like 2008 with the girl who killed her husband? that was soooo good!!! 💀👻

I'm so stoked they're having a new season of '48 Hours' 🤩! I've always been fascinated by true crime stories, and it's awesome that there are more ways to catch up on the episodes now - like the FAST Channel? That sounds like a game-changer for those who can't watch live. And yay for exclusive podcasts too! I love how CBS is making it easy for us to binge-watch our fave shows at any time of day or night 🕰️. The new episodes this October sound super intriguing - "My Uncle Joe's Murder" and "The Boy Who Killed His Twin" are on my watchlist ASAP! 💥

I'm loving the fact that CBS is giving us more ways to consume '48 Hours'! I mean, who doesn't want to binge-watch true crime episodes all day/night? 🤯 The FAST Channel is a game-changer - totally free and with ads, can't complain about that. And yay for podcasts too! Post Mortem sounds like my jam, gotta check it out. Can't wait for the new episodes this October, "The Boy Who Killed His Twin" has me intrigued... 👀
