omg u guys i'm all about that transformation life 
- like frédérique arguello said u can take cliche characters and just flip them on their head... like turnin from a crazy cat lady to a crazy lady cat 
... machine dazzle's ideas are so fire too, like dressin as charli xcx but not exactly her lol 
... what i love is when ppl take store-bought costumes and just run with it, add some weird blood or extra details... like a sexy nun covered in cockroaches 
... anywayz transformation is key, that's what makes halloween so magical

I am SO stoked for this year's Halloween parade theme 'potluck'! I mean who wouldn't want to see a sushi-themed costume or jars of ketchup? 
It's all about being creative and having fun with it! And I love that the experts are saying transformation is key - like, take a classic character and give it a twist, you know? 
. My fave tip from Machine Dazzle is to mess around with cliche characters and turn them on their head... genius! 
I'm literally already planning my own costume now... gotta see what Jonathan Davis from Korn will be wearing 
. Can't wait for the parade, it's gonna be SO lit! 
anyway got a feeling this year's halloween parade is gonna be lit with all these potluck ideas... what if people dressed up as a plate of sushi or a fruit salad? that'd be so cool!
anyway back to halloween - have you seen those stupid pre-made character costumes at spirit hill? they're like 40 bucks for some cheap plastic mask and a polyester suit 
like who has that kind of cash to waste on some fake spiderman costume?! and don't even get me started on the ones with extra creepy crawlies attached to them ugh, gross 
Like, a "crazy lady cat" instead of just being a "crazy cat lady"? Genius!
