Trapped in the Trees, Snowboarder's Desperate Cry for Help. Skier Francis Zuber quickly came to the rescue.

On a mountainous slope in Washington state, US, 30-year-old snowboarder was left buried upside down in a tree well when a rockslide blocked his escape route. With no clear way out and no phone signal, he desperately tried to get someone's attention.

That was when Francis Zuber, the skier who happened to be nearby, sprang into action. Witnessing the situation unfold before him, he knew exactly what to do. The 35-year-old's response has been widely praised by experts as a textbook example of how to rescue someone trapped in such an ordeal.

Zuber quickly assessed the situation and came up with a plan. He began digging out the snowboarder using his shovel and a makeshift pulley system he had set up, working tirelessly against time to save the stranded rider.

The entire rescue operation took about 20 minutes to complete. When the rescuers finally freed the snowboarder from the tree well, they were met with tears of gratitude as he was lifted out safely to the surface.

Zuber's heroic actions have been widely recognized and praised, with many calling for him to receive recognition for his bravery in saving a life. The incident has also highlighted the importance of taking up rescue courses, so that others may be equipped to respond in similar situations.

In an emotional interview, Zuber recounted the harrowing experience, saying: "I just knew I had to act fast and try to get him out safely."

😭 this is like something out of a movie, 20 minutes feels like forever for that guy trapped upside down. i'm so glad Francis was there to save his life, what a hero 💪! it's amazing how quickly he assessed the situation and came up with a plan. and wow, the snowboarder must have been going through such a lot of fear and anxiety in that tree well 🤯. i hope he's doing okay now, that rescue had to be so traumatic for him 😔.

😊🏔️ OMG this is insane! I'm still shaking my head over here. I mean, who tries a tree well in the first place? 🤦‍♂️ Francis Zuber though, what a hero! Like, seriously, 20 minutes to dig someone out with a makeshift pulley system? That's dedication! 💪

And can we talk about how lucky that snowboarder was to have been spotted by Zuber in the first place? Like, what are the chances?! 🤔 I'm just glad everyone is safe and sound now. Thanks to Zuber for being a lifesaver (literally!) 🙏.

This whole thing makes me think, though - we need more people like Francis out there! Rescue courses should be super popular, you know? 📚 So that others can learn how to respond in similar situations. Safety first, right?! 💯

omg u guys this guy Francis Zuber is literally a hero !!! i was reading about this on reddit and i just can't even he saw someone trapped in a tree well and HE JUST SPRANG INTO ACTION with his shovel and pulley system 🤯🏔️😂 i mean what even is that level of preparedness??!! and the fact that it only took 20 mins to rescue him is insane

i think we can all learn from this incident, especially skiers and snowboarders who are out on the mountain taking risks... getting trained in first aid and rescue courses would be a huge help for these types of situations 🤝🏼🌲 i'm also seriously considering signing up for one myself now just incase I ever get stuck like that lol

man this story is like a reminder that sometimes you gotta take initiative when you see someone's in trouble... like franz zuber didn't know what was gonna happen but he still stepped up & did what needed doin. it's like we all got our own crosses to bear, or in his case, our own people stuck in the snow lol. anyway point is we all got to be like franz, think on our feet & take action when others need us

🤯 Just watched this crazy video of a snowboarder stuck upside down in a tree well and I'm still shaking my head. The guy who came to his rescue, Francis Zuber, is literally a hero 🙌! I mean, can you imagine being in that situation and having someone just jump into action like that? It's amazing how he stayed calm and thought on his feet to come up with a plan to save the snowboarder. And 20 minutes is really quick considering it could've taken way longer if he hadn't acted fast ⏰. The whole rescue thing was so intense, I'm glad no one got hurt 😊.

omg what a hero! 🙌 francis zuber's rescue skills are insane i mean who else could've handled that situation so calmly? 😲 i was literally on the edge of my seat watching this video over and over again, thinking how he managed to come up with a plan so quickly. 20 minutes is not even a lot of time when you're stuck in a tree well! 🕰️ i hope he gets the recognition he deserves for saving that snowboarder's life 💯

I gotta say, this whole thing is kinda overhyped 🤔. Don't get me wrong, Francis Zuber's a hero and all, but 20 minutes is pretty standard for a rescue op in these conditions. Like, most trained rescuers can do it way faster than that 💨. And what really got my attention was the fact that he basically just followed procedure 📝. I mean, kudos to him for staying calm under pressure and all, but let's not make him out like some kinda savior figure 👊. He did his job, and that's it.

omg did u see this?! 🤯 i was thinkin bout school and how we have those emergency drills and stuff but i never thought i'd be learnin about real-life rescues like this 📚🏔️ francis zuber is literally a hero!!! 20 minutes saved someone's life that's crazy talk! 🕰️ u gotta respect ppl like him who take action without thinkin twice 💪 and it just goes to show how important those rescue courses r 👍

OMG, can u believe this?! 😲 That snowboarder was literally stuck upside down in a tree well like it was no big deal... meanwhile, Francis Zuber is over there trying to save his life like a real-life hero 🙌! I'm literally giving him a standing ovation right now. The way he came up with that plan and worked tirelessly to rescue the guy? 🤩 textbook example of bravery right there. And can we talk about how much respect he deserves for this? A medal, a prize, or just a huge "THANK YOU" from me 🙏... Whatever it is, he's definitely deserving!

omg 🤩 i cant even right now!!! francis zuber is literally a hero 💖 he saved that snowboarder from that tree well in like 20 minutes!!!!!! i'm totally swooning over his heroic actions ❤️ i need more info on him ASAP, where can i get a merch of him? 😂 also, i just saw the video of the rescue and my heart is still racing 🏔️😱 zuber's plan was genius, like who comes up with that stuff in emergency situations? 🤯 anyway, i'm totally shipping zuber now and i need to follow his every move 👀

🙌 I'm like totally amazed by Francis Zuber's heroics, dude! I mean, who expects to see someone literally digging you out of a tree well? 🤯 The fact that he set up this pulley system on the spot is just incredible. And 20 minutes is like, super quick considering the situation 😩. It's a great reminder for us all to be prepared and take those rescue courses, just in case we find ourselves in a similar sticky situation. Kudos to Zuber, though - his instinct and training clearly saved that snowboarder's life 🙏.

This incident is a stark reminder of the importance of being prepared for unexpected situations 🌲. Francis Zuber's quick thinking and expertise in setting up a makeshift pulley system were instrumental in saving the snowboarder's life. It's reassuring to know that there are still heroes like him out there who are willing to put themselves in harm's way to help others in need.

The fact that Zuber was able to assess the situation, come up with a plan, and execute it with precision is truly remarkable 💡. His actions demonstrate a clear understanding of basic rescue techniques and a commitment to helping those in distress.

It's also worth noting that this incident highlights the importance of community and looking out for one another 🤝. The fact that Zuber happened to be nearby and was able to respond quickly to the situation is a testament to the strength of his relationships with others.

😊 I'm still shaking my head over this crazy situation... like, 20 minutes is a blink of an eye in emergency situations, but can you imagine being stuck upside down in a tree well? 🤯 It's a miracle that snowboarder made it out alive! And Francis Zuber, man, what a hero 💪. I mean, setting up a makeshift pulley system on the fly is like something out of a movie... and his calm demeanor during the rescue? 💆‍♂️ Total zen master right there! 🙏

omg can u believe this?? 🤯 20 minutes from near death to safe and sound! 😲 that guy Francis Zuber is a total hero for saving that snowboarder's life. i mean, who takes up rescue courses? we need more people like zuber out there. 🙌 the fact that he was just nearby and knew what to do makes it even more impressive. I wonder if he'll get any recognition for his bravery... 🤔 btw, check out this cool video of the rescue operation:
👀

omg this guy's a real-life hero 🙌, can you even imagine being trapped in those trees for like 20 mins with no phone signal? 😱 that's just crazy... zuber's actions are literally textbook perfect - how did he know what to do?! 🤔 it's amazing that he was able to stay calm and help the snowboarder out of that situation... and i'm totally with everyone saying he deserves recognition for this! 💯

just saw this video of a snowboarder stuck in a tree well and I'm genuinely shook 🤯. i mean, can you imagine being trapped like that with no phone signal? the rescuer's plan was so cool tho, using a pulley system and all that 💪. what's crazy is how quickly it happened, 20 minutes from the snowboarder calling for help to him being safe on the surface ⏱️. it's a good reminder of how important rescue courses are 🚨. I'm glad everyone made it out okay 👍.

omg u gotta hear about this snowboarder dude who got trapped upside down in a tree well in washington state 🤯! he couldn't even use his phone cuz there was no signal lol. anyway, some skier named francis zuber just happens to be nearby and he's all like "oh no, someone needs help!" 💨 so he makes a plan (which is basically a textbook rescue plan btw) and gets to work digging the dude out with a shovel and this fancy pulley system he set up 🤖. it only took 20 minutes or whatever but the guy is finally safe & sound on the surface, surrounded by rescuers and crying bc they're just so relieved 😭. francis zuber is basically a hero now and i'm not surprised tbh, anyone would do the same in his shoes (literally lol). we should all be taking up rescue courses or something tho, just in case 🚨👍

omg u wont believe wut just happened on mt washington 🏔️! so this dude gets stuck upside down in a tree well cuz of a rockslide & theres no signal 2 call 4 help, but this guy frances zuber comes along & is like "peace out, im gonna save this guy" 💥! he basically creates his own pulley system w/ a shovel & manages to get the dude out in like 20 mins ⏱️! and the rescuers r all like "omg how did u do that" 🤯! i mean its obvious 2 me, but idk wut else u guys would do in this situation 😂. anyone think zuber should get some kinda award 4 his heroics? 💪

this guy zuber is a total hero 🙌 but come on folks how did he even know what to do? like was there some secret training or something? i'm not saying the snowboarder was unprepared or anything, but seriously how does one just know how to rescue someone from a tree well in 20 minutes? shouldn't we be seeing experts and emergency services involved here instead of some random skier just winging it? and what's with the "textbook example" hype? has anyone actually seen this kind of thing happen before? 🤔 source pls!
