I mean, he could've easily panicked or gotten distracted but instead he focused on getting the guy out safely. it's a great reminder for us all to take those avalanche safety courses so we know what to do in case of an emergency like this.

Anyway, this skier Francis Zuber is literally a hero, and I'm low-key thinking he's got some kinda superpower or something for rescuing that dude in like 2 seconds. I mean, I know it's all part of the job, but still... what a legend! 
And it just goes to show you how important those rescue courses are – my old buddy's brother took one and now he's always ready for an emergency (too much info, I know).
And a huge thank you to the snowboarder for being so grateful and appreciative of his heroism... it's clear that their lives were forever changed by this incredible act of bravery

taking those avalanche rescue courses is a must imo, it's always better to be safe than sorry 
. If more people take avalanche rescue courses, we might not have as many close calls like this one. And it's awesome that Zuber's heroics are being studied by experts worldwide!
