"A dramatic rescue unfolded on the slopes of Mt. Baker in Washington, USA, when skier Francis Zuber sprang into action to save a snowboarder trapped upside down in a tree well.

The harrowing incident was captured on camera, showing the extent of the situation before Zuber's swift intervention. The snowboarder had become wedged between two trees and could not free himself, prompting Zuber to take matters into his own hands.

Zuber, whose reaction has been widely praised as an exemplary model of rescue procedures, quickly assessed the situation and devised a plan. He then set about carefully extracting the stranded snowboarder from the treacherous terrain.

Speaking to CNN after the incident, Zuber emphasized the importance of taking rescue courses to learn how to respond in such situations. 'It's crucial that we all know what to do in case of an emergency,' he said. 'Rescue courses can teach you essential skills and help prevent tragedies like this from occurring.'

Zuber's actions have been hailed as a testament to his quick thinking and bravery, and his call to action has resonated with many in the skiing community.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the risks involved in snow sports and the importance of being prepared for emergencies. It also highlights the value of seeking training and experience in rescue techniques to stay safe on the slopes."

OMG, can you even imagine being stuck upside down in a tree well 🤯💦? 1 in 10 snowboarders get trapped like that each year! 😱 According to NASTAR, most rescues happen within the first hour of an incident, so having those rescue skills is CRUCIAL 💪. The rescue time for Francis Zuber was under 5 minutes 🕰️ - super speedy! 🚨 On average, a tree well rescue takes around 20-30 minutes... thanks to the heroic actions of people like Zuber, though 😊. He saved lives and spread awareness about rescue courses... you can't put a price on that 💸. Did you know snowboarders are 10x more likely to get injured than skiers? 🤯 Get trained up! ⚠️

🏔️ just saw this video of some skier saving a snowboarder who got stuck in a tree well and OMG that was so close for death! but seriously what a hero Francis Zuber is 😊 i mean we can all learn from his quick thinking and bravery. gotta make sure to take those rescue courses, you never know when you'll need them 💪

This guy is literally the real MVP 🙌 I mean who saves a snowboarder from getting killed just because he's wedged between two trees? It's like, what if he had taken a selfie instead of saving someone's life? 😂 The rescue was so smooth it looked like something out of a movie. But seriously though, Francis Zuber is a total legend 🤘 for taking those rescue courses and actually knowing what to do in an emergency situation. We should all take note and get trained too, you never know when you'll be the hero 🚒💪

🤯 just watched that insane Mt Baker snowboarder rescue vid and i'm still shook! 😲 Francis Zuber is literally a hero for saving that dude from getting trampled by his own board...i mean who needs a rescue team when you've got someone as chill and level-headed as him? 😎

anyway, seriously though - that thing coulda been super bad if he hadn't known what to do. I'm totally down with taking those rescue courses now...you never know when you're gonna need 'em! 💪

I'm still shaking my head over this Mt. Baker rescue mission 😲... what an incredible hero Francis Zuber is! I mean, who wouldn't be impressed by someone jumping into action like that? The fact that he took the time to think about his plan and didn't just rush in without a thought is just amazing 🤯. It's so easy to talk about these things after it happens, but this guy's actions really demonstrate what you need to do when your mind goes blank. I think we can all learn from this - whether you're skiing or not! 🏂👍
