Andrea Bocelli gives Trump impromptu Oval Office performance during White House visit

President Trump received an impromptu performance from Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli at the White House on October 17, with a video of the moment shared by Trump's special assistant Margo Martin on X.

The two met in the Oval Office where Trump stood behind the Resolute Desk while Bocelli performed, wearing a black suit and tie along with sunglasses. "Listen to this," Trump said as the song "Time to Say Goodbye" began playing, but it appears that he did not sing or join in during the performance.

Another video shared by Martin shows Trump and Bocelli talking at the president's desk and listening to a recording of a Bocelli song together.

Bocelli was also scheduled to perform at the White House on December 5, according to Deadline, two days before he is set to receive the Kennedy Center Honors.

It remains unclear if Bocelli's visit to the White House was directly connected with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy who met with Trump for a high-stakes summit that took place on October 17.
