April 3, 2023 Trump indictment news | CNN Politics

I'm still trying to fathom what's goin' on here 🤯... Like, back in my day, we'd be all about live coverage of court proceedings! You know, for transparency and accountability? And now, Trump's team is sayin' it'd create a "circus-like atmosphere"? 🎪 I mean, come on, that's what courts are for! But I guess when you're the former Prez, rules don't apply, right?

And honestly, I'm a bit surprised they're makin' such a big deal about security concerns. I mean, we've had live coverage of politicians at these arraignments before and nothin's ever blown up... well, not literally, anyway 😂. But seriously, I think it's just an excuse to avoid scrutiny.

It's like they want to keep the proceedings private so they can, you know, control the narrative 🤔. And that's what worries me – what are they hidin'? Is it somethin' more serious than just tax fraud? I don't know, but I'm keepin' an eye on this one 👀...

ugh live broadcast for trump's arraignment? feels like a circus 🤡📺, but can't deny it's gonna be a major news event. think media outlets are just trying to get that juice, but honestly who doesn't want to see this go down? security concerns are valid tho, you don't wanna risk anything crazy happening live on camera 💥🚨. and let's be real, trump's team is all about control here 🤝. wonder if judge merchan will cave in or make a bold move 🤔

I'm low-key surprised that Trump's team is trying to block live coverage of his arraignment 🤔. I mean, it's not like he's gonna be able to tweet about what happens in there after the fact or anything 😂. But seriously, can you imagine if the whole thing was just some kinda awkward Zoom meeting? Would that really be better for everyone involved? I'm all for keeping security concerns at bay, but it feels like they're trying to control too much 🤷‍♀️.

And can we talk about how weird it is that Trump's team says there's no rule against cameras, but still wants to block them? That just seems like a weak attempt to avoid scrutiny 📹. And what about the media outlets themselves? Don't they have a right to cover the story as it happens? It feels like this whole thing is just gonna get more attention if they're not allowed to be there in person 👀.

I'm guessing the judge will probably go with whatever seems best for the courtroom, but I do hope whoever gets to observe it (with or without cameras) can give us a little insight into what's really going on in there 🔍.

I don't think it's right that Trump's lawyers are trying to block media coverage 🤔... I mean, this is a public figure we're talking about, and arraignments like this should be open to scrutiny. The whole thing with security concerns just seems like an excuse to hide something from the public 👀. I think it's up to the courts to decide what's best for the proceedings, not the lawyers trying to spin it in their favor 🤑. It's always weird when powerful people try to control the narrative like this 📺...
