I'm like totally excited about this Thai election
! So I was thinking, what's up with Thailand's economy, right? It sounds super messed up
. Like, tariffs hurting exporters and growth being less than 2 percent? That's crazy talk
. But I guess when you're facing an economic crisis, the last thing on your mind is politics... or at least that's what I hope
.
And omg, who becomes the favorite candidate of the royalist conservative establishment? Anutin, right?
. Like, isn't he like super connected to the royal family or something? I don't really get it, but I guess it's all about the power and money
.
But anywayz, back to the election
. It sounds like the People's Party is gaining momentum and stuff, which is cool, I guess
. But what if they don't win enough seats?
What then? Do they just dissolve the government again or something?
And can we talk about vote-buying for a sec?
It sounds like it's still super prevalent in rural areas, which is just wild
. Like, shouldn't we be able to trust our votes or what?
Sorry, not sorry, for the convo
! I guess I'm just really curious about this election and how it's all gonna play out
