Bill Maher Praises Trump's Gaza Peace Deal Amid Unlikely Surprise.

In an unusual display of admiration, late-night host Bill Maher credited President Donald Trump with brokering a peace deal in the Gaza Strip that many had deemed impossible. Speaking to his HBO audience on Real Time, Maher acknowledged that Trump accomplished something that others thought would be out of reach.

Trump's deal brought about an end to years-long conflict in Gaza and was facilitated by mediators who are now expected to begin working on phases of a 20-point peace plan. This breakthrough came after two years of negotiations, and the president has been praised for his ability to achieve this goal.

Maher's praise was somewhat unexpected given that he frequently criticizes Trump. However, in this instance, Maher chose to give credit where credit is due, calling out others who had tried but failed to pull off a similar deal. When asked about Trump's success with the peace plan, Maher stated that "a lot of people tried to pull this off, and he did," showing some begrudging respect for the president.

Maher's quip about Trump's ability to send people back home also referenced his latest push to deport illegal immigrants convicted of crimes.

I'm not surprised, lol 😒... like who else can just swoop in and solve a decades-long problem with no one even expecting it? 🤷‍♂️ It's not like he didn't have some luck on his side or that the other party was desperate for a deal. Plus, let's be real, it's not like they actually did anything all those years... just a bunch of politicians playing politics. And now everyone's giving him props? 🙄 Give me a break. Maybe it's just a good PR stunt to boost his rep or something... idk 😕

I'm not sure if I'm buying it 🤔... Bill Maher giving credit to Trump on a peace deal in Gaza? That's like saying Obama was great at playing Fortnite 🎮👀... doesn't really add up. Has anyone seen the rest of that 20-point peace plan? Sounds like just another broken promise 💸😒

OMG I cant believe what I just read 🤯 Bill Maher giving props to Trump like that is so weird! I mean I guess he did manage to get some stuff done, but a peace deal in Gaza? That's like getting an A+ on our math test 😂. I'm surprised even the teachers would agree with him on this one! Maher's always been super critical of Trump, so it's interesting that he'd be all praise-y now 🤷‍♀️. Maybe he just had a moment of clarity or something? Anyway, I guess you can't deny the guy's ability to get things done... even if they're not exactly what we want him to do 😐.

😒 I don't get why Bill Maher is praising Trump's Gaza deal 🤔... didn't he have a thing or two to say when Trump was being super divisive on the campaign trail? 🙄 And yeah, it is kinda impressive that they were able to broker a peace deal after years of conflict 😅. But what about all the other issues that still need to be addressed in Gaza and Israel? It's not like this one deal is gonna solve everything 💔. Can't we just have some real solutions for once instead of praising politicians who might not even care about the people they're supposed to be helping 🤷‍♂️

can u believe trump actually did something right 4 once 🤔? i mean its not like hes got a track record of messing everything up, but hey if bill maher is giving him props then theres gotta be some merit in it 🙏. ppl always say he's all about the drama and controversy, but sometimes u just gotta give credit where credit is due 💯. still dont agree with his policies on immigration tho 🚫, but nice to see him get a win on something that really matters 🌎

I'm completely surprised Bill Maher is praising Trump's Gaza deal 🤯 I mean what's next? He's gonna start loving Trump's hair too 😂 Nah, I know that's not the case. But seriously, someone gotta give credit where credit is due. The dude didn't exactly make this happen on his own though - all those behind-the-scenes people were doing their thing. I'm still not sold on it tho... think there are some strings attached we don't know about yet 😏

🤔 I gotta say, who would've thought Bill Maher would be giving Trump props like this? I mean, I know he's been harsh on him in the past, but when it comes to this Gaza peace deal, I think even Trump haters have gotta give him credit 🙌. It's not like he single-handedly did all the work (although, let's be real, his ego probably played a role 😉). The fact that mediators are moving forward with the 20-point plan is huge news and shows that sometimes these crazy-long negotiations actually pay off 🤞. Plus, it's not like Trump's just sitting back collecting his paycheck while others do all the heavy lifting... although, I mean, he did get a lot of criticism for it initially 😒.

I don't know man... 🤔 Bill Maher is like super unpredictable when it comes to politics, but I kinda get what he's saying here 😊. Trump did manage to pull off a pretty impressive peace deal in Gaza, and it's definitely not something that's been easy to achieve. Maybe we should give him some props for that? 💯 However, at the same time, I'm like "yeah right", you know? 🤷‍♂️ Maher's gotta be trying to stir up some controversy or something... still curious to see how he follows this one up 😃

I'm not buying it 😒. Trump's deal in Gaza sounds too good to be true, and I'm still waiting for some concrete evidence that this peace plan isn't just a smokescreen. I mean, we've seen similar promises from other world leaders before, only to have them crumble under pressure. And let's not forget, Maher is usually the first one to trash Trump on his show 🤔. This sudden praise feels like he's just trying to spin it and get more views for Real Time. I'm also curious about what kind of 'mediators' are being brought in now... sounds like a classic case of outsourcing problems rather than actually fixing them 👀. We need to see some real progress, not just empty promises 🚫

idk how many ppl think trump deserves credit 4 this gaza deal 🤔 it seems like every time there's a major achievement, some1 tries 2 spin it as a trumph moment 💪 but the thing is, who else could've pulled off something so seemingly impossible? i mean, we all know trump's got a reputation 4 being unpredictable, but this is just wild 🤯 maybe its time 2 rethink our opinions on him?

🤔 I'm kinda surprised by Bill Maher giving Trump some credit for brokering a peace deal in Gaza 🙏. I mean, Trump did manage to get something done that seemed impossible, but don't we need to be careful about who gets the recognition? It's not like he didn't have any help or resources at his disposal 😐.

I'm more interested in what this says about our expectations for world leaders and diplomacy 🌎. Can we expect more surprises from politicians like Trump? And how are we going to hold them accountable when they do get something right? 💪
