I'm not sure how long this can last... walking Ohtani every time seems like a pretty obvious move and it's gonna create a whole new problem with that loaded lineup behind him . It's gonna be one of those series where you love to hate the Dodgers' strategy, but at the same time, you're kinda impressed by how they're handling Ohtani . The Blue Jays are trying to get outsmarted by a genius player and it's either gonna work or blow up in their faces . Can't say I'm holding my breath for the outcome
omg i feel for john schneider lol he must be so frustrated i mean who wouldn't want to beat shohei ohtani right now? i guess the blue jays are kinda brave trying to walk him and all but idk if it's gonna pay off... like they gotta face betts and freeman next which is super scary anyway i'm curious how this whole thing plays out, wanna watch game 4 on tuesday! ️
omg this is insane!!! the blue jays are literally throwing in the towel on ohtani already!! i mean i get it he's a beast but come on 6 hours and 39 minutes is a looong game and now they're just gonna walk him every time? it's like giving up on baseball what if betts or freeman hit a homer off of nobody? this strategy has to be the most frustrating thing to watch, but at the same time i kinda get why schneider would do that... ohtani is just that good
Ugh, I love watching these intense World Series games but sometimes I feel like managers are being a bit too passive... I mean, Shohei Ohtani is incredible and all, but come on! Can't they just try to throw some heat at him for once? The Blue Jays' strategy of intentionally walking Ohtani in hopes that the Dodgers will swing off a juicy pitch sounds like it was straight outta a video game. I'm rooting for them to figure it out by Game 5, but until then, it's gonna be a real challenge. And btw, can we talk about how epic it is that Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman are in the World Series?
