. The thought of Jeanine Anez just waltzing out of prison is like a slap in the face to every single Bolivian who fought for democracy and justice under Evo Morales' leadership 
. I mean, we're talking about someone who essentially staged a coup against the democratically elected president of Bolivia 
. The idea that she got off scot-free just because of some technicality with her trial is infuriating 
. And don't even get me started on the timing of this ruling - it's like the court is trying to undermine the very foundation of democracy in Bolivia 
. Newsflash, Bolivians: your hard-won progress and fight for justice are still being undermined by the very institutions meant to uphold them

Doesn't that just set a bad precedent? And what's up with the timing? Just when Morales is done leading the country for almost 20 years... It's all kinda messy. 
I know Anez has fans and all, but this seems like it could've gone both ways - either she gets to serve her time or she gets off scot-free. Either way, it's just a whole lot of drama in Bolivia right now

so like what happened here? anez was found guilty of doing some pretty bad stuff and now she gets to walk free? didn't that whole thing with morales just end all because of a bunch of protests? i mean, isn't it kinda weird that the court is saying they messed up her trial? what exactly did they mess up? wasnt there like evidence or witnesses or something? 
. And to be honest, it kinda feels like Morales got a raw deal too... I'm all for accountability and due process, but come on, can't we get that right sometimes?
