Border czar says "I have not seen ICE act out outside of policy" when pressed by Dokoupil on excessive force claims

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/tom-homan-ice-use-of-force-excessive-force-video-2025-01-10 🤔

i'm kinda confused about this whole thing... i mean, i get that they gotta enforce the law and all, but these videos of ice agents using force are just super concerning... like what's going on here? is it really necessary to tackle people or use chokeholds? shouldn't we be able to resolve situations peacefully first?

anyway, i'm not gonna sit here and judge tom homan or ice as a whole, but something feels off about this situation... 🤷‍♂️

🤔 I don't know if Tom Homan is being truthful about not witnessing excessive force, you feel? Like, how can he be so sure when these videos are out there showing agents using force in a way that's just super aggressive? 🚫 And what's up with the Minneapolis thing? He's dodging that one pretty hard. I think we need to see some real accountability from ICE, especially if they're not following those guidelines about only using force when it's absolutely necessary. 💪
