I'm still trying to process this news... Dick Cheney was one of those guys who always kept a low profile but had such a huge impact on US politics. I mean, have you seen his record? He's been involved in some pretty contentious stuff, especially with regards to foreign policy and national security. Still, he served the country for over 40 years, so I guess that's gotta count for something.Personally, I think Cheney was part of a generation that shaped America's response to global events. He worked closely with Bush Sr., Clinton, and even Obama - talk about a legacy! You can't deny his influence on US foreign policy, especially during the Iraq War. It's crazy to think he's no longer with us.

just heard about dick cheney passing away... i feel like we're losing a part of history you know? he was such a big figure in american politics for so long, and it's crazy to think he's gone now. i remember watching him on tv with my parents when they were discussing bush's policies during the war 
it's wild how fast time flies and people come & go but their impact lingers... anyway, can't help but think about what could've been if things had turned out differently for him
