CEOs are tired of being held responsible for gun regulation | CNN Business

You know what's crazy? I was at this music festival last weekend 🎶 and they had these insane food trucks with the most amazing vegan burgers 🍔🌱. I'm not even a huge vegan, but that one place really stood out to me. And then I started thinking about how sometimes you just need to take a break from all the seriousness of life, like, gun control and climate change... it's just so overwhelming 😩. But hey, who needs policy discussions when you have vegan food trucks, right? 🤷‍♀️

I'm thinking about this, and it's just so sad that all these companies are being quiet when they know how bad things can get with mass shootings 🤕. I mean, I get that climate change and social justice are huge issues too, but come on, lives are literally being lost every day because of guns! 💔 It's like, what happened to their passion for making a difference? Did they just lose interest or something? 😒 And it's not like they're just sitting back and doing nothing - I read that some companies used to donate a lot to politicians' campaigns, but now that's not the case anymore. That's so...confusing. 💁‍♀️

idk why big corps r so quiet about gun control 🤔 they've been pretty vocal on climate and social justice issues but suddenly it's like they don't care about lives lost to senseless violence 🚫 it's not like they're not making money off of guns, companies like Tesla are still killing it 💸 the thing is, i think its not just that they're burned out from trying to drive change on their own, but also because politicians aren't holding them accountable for their donations and lobbying efforts 🤑 maybe if big corps started using their influence to actually push for real change, we'd see some progress on gun control 🤞

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease" 💪 - you know what they say about people who make a big noise and expect results... corporate America needs to raise their voices again and not just talk the talk! 🗣️
