Chemical linked to low sperm count, obesity and cancer found in dummies, tests find

I'm totally not surprised by this news 🙄. I mean, come on, these companies are just trying to make a profit and they don't care about our health. I think it's great that Curaprox is taking responsibility for their mistake, but it's still ridiculous that they're only removing the affected batches from the market. What about all the customers who might have already used those dummies? That's just basic common sense.

And don't even get me started on Sophie la Girafe's claims 🙄. If their products meet EU safety standards and they haven't had any pacifiers in their catalogue for some time, then why are there still BPA levels above the detection limit? It's all about transparency, folks! The companies should be upfront about what's in their products and take full responsibility when something goes wrong.

The whole thing just stinks of regulatory failures 😒. The EU needs to step up its game and set stricter standards for these companies. We can't keep letting them get away with this stuff. And honestly, I think it's time we stopped relying on these cheap alternatives and started investing in safer, more sustainable options 🌿💪

OMG 🤯 I'm literally SHOOK by this news!!! Like, who knew baby dummies could be so toxic?! 😱 I mean, I've heard of some weird stuff in food and water, but this is wild! 💁‍♀️ Those tiny humans are already vulnerable enough without having to worry about BPA poisoning too... ouch 🤕

Umm, this is crazy 🤯! Like, I know the EU has banned BPA in babies' bottles and stuff since 2011, but come on... how can baby dummies not be regulated more tightly? It's just common sense, right? I mean, we're talking about tiny humans here who are already vulnerable to all sorts of health issues. The fact that Curaprox is like "oh, our BPA levels were fine" and Sophie la Girafe is all "our products meet EU standards"... it sounds like a bunch of corporate doublespeak 🙄.

I need some actual data or study to back this up. Like, what exactly happened during these tests? How many dummies were tested and what's the sample size looking like here? We can't just take one group of researchers' word for it... that's not how science works 😒. And seriously, if the EU's standards are so ambiguous, how do we even know they're doing anything right now? This whole thing feels like a recipe for disaster 🚨.

omg, this is so crazy! 🤯 I mean, who knew baby dummies could be contaminated with toxic stuff? It's like, our little ones are already vulnerable and we're putting them in these products that can harm them? 😱 And the fact that Curaprox's batch exceeded EU limits by a huge margin... that's just not okay! 🤦‍♀️

We need to make sure our kids are safe and protected, you know? 💕 I'm all for strong regulations and accountability. It's like, we have a responsibility as parents and consumers to ensure these products meet certain safety standards. I hope Curaprox is taking this seriously and getting those affected batches off the market ASAP! 🚫

And can we talk about how confusing it is that there are ambiguous regulations? Like, what even is the point of having guidelines if they're not being followed? 😩 It's just frustrating. We need to advocate for stricter rules so our little ones can grow up safe and healthy! 💪

just thinkin about this is freaky 🤯 if they got bpa in baby dummies that's super sketchy can we trust the brands they claim their products r safe? i mean, 3 micrograms per kilogram barely above detection limit still is a lot for little babies 🤕 i wonder what else might be hiding in these things...anyway, glad curaprox stepped up and offered refunds, but like karolína brabcová said, regulation needs to get tight up 👊

I'm getting really concerned about this... they found super high levels of BPA in baby dummies 🤯! Like, what even is the point of making something safe for kids if it's just gonna be loaded with yucky stuff? I mean, I get that there are limits and all, but 3 micrograms per kilogram barely above detection limit? That's basically saying "good enough" to me 😒. Our little ones are so vulnerable, and we need to make sure their toys aren't poisoning them in the first place 🤷‍♀️. I'm calling for stricter regulations, stat! It's time to get serious about keeping our kids safe 👍
