I'm so over these emails
. I mean, I get it, they're just trying to make sales, but do they have to be so annoying?!
I've gotten tired of my inbox being flooded with order confirmations and "you're running out of time" reminders from websites I don't even remember visiting. It's like, can't they see I'm busy?
I've started ignoring most of them or switching off notifications altogether, but it's still so frustrating when I get a bunch at once. And yeah, some retailers do send way too many marketing emails, it feels like they're just trying to spam me on repeat
.
But at the same time, I guess those regular updates can be kinda reassuring, you know? Like when I buy something online and I want to know where it is in shipping
. So maybe retailers could find a balance between keeping us updated and not bombarding us with too many emails?
I think the key is to make them more personalized and less spammy
. If they send me an email, I'm probably interested in something specific, so maybe tailor it to that rather than sending out generic reminders or promotions.
What about you guys? How do you feel about all these emails? Are we just getting too overwhelmed?
