just heard about this crazy snowmageddon in Novosibirsk Russia... 30cm of snow in like 2 days? that's crazy! one person is already gone and two others are struggling to breathe under all that rubble . so sad, can't believe it happened here! the thing is, why didn't they see this coming? were they prepared for such a big snowfall? building safety should be top priority in places like this! experts are saying we need to be more proactive about preventing these kinds of disasters... fingers crossed someone gets some answers soon

This is just crazy! I mean, 30 cm of fresh powder in a few days? That's insane! And for someone to lose their life like that... it's just heartbreaking. The thing is, we've all seen videos of buildings collapsing under the weight of snow before, but this one hits close to home. What were they thinking when they built this shopping center in such an area? I'm not saying they didn't do due diligence or anything, but 30 cm is a lot to deal with! It's like they're playing Russian roulette with people's lives.

And the thing that really gets me is, we all know about this sort of thing happening in Russia, but it never seems to get the attention it deserves until something tragic happens. Like, I'm not saying the media doesn't cover natural disasters or anything, but there's just a disconnect between what we know and when we actually see it on our screens.

Anyway, my thoughts are with the families of the people who were affected by this tragedy. We need to make sure that something like this never happens again!
