I mean, come on... who does Leavitt think she is? It's like, okay, let's take a step back and assess this situation. The Democratic Party is not comprised of Hamas terrorists, undocumented immigrants, and violent criminals. That sounds like some crazy conspiracy theory stuff that Trump would whip up to get votes. Meanwhile, we've got real issues like healthcare, education, and climate change to tackle, but instead, Leavitt's over here painting the whole Democratic Party with a broad brush.
It's also rich how quickly the GOP is jumping on this bandwagon, using Clinton's "basket of deplorables" phrase as their own. That was one misstep, folks! Can't they come up with something new? And what's with all these personal attacks from Republicans? You'd think they'd want to focus on policy differences instead of resorting to name-calling.
This whole thing is a prime example of how rhetoric can get out of hand in politics. I'm not buying the "demented" or "ignorant" labels being thrown around. That's just more fuel for the fire, and it's time someone called Leavitt on her BS. The White House needs to speak up and put some teeth behind their statement. Otherwise, we'll keep seeing this kind of inflammatory talk until the noise gets so loud that nobody can hear anything else.
