but what I didn't know was that cheney actually offered 2 step down from the ticket during the 2004 campaign 
can u imagine? it's crazy 2 think abt all the drama he had w/ trump lately

It's like, you'd expect politicians to be all platitudes and empty gestures at a funeral, but Bush actually seemed genuine 
That must've been so nerve-wracking for him and his family. It's amazing that Bush is willing to talk about that and not just gloss over it... I guess some people really are good at forgiveness

it's crazy how much they've been through together and how much they've accomplished as leaders in america. i mean, who else can say they went from being friends to having their disagreements blow up into party politics like that? 
anyway, it's clear that dick cheney will be deeply missed and his legacy will live on through all the good work he did for america
