Electoral violence is on the horizon in Kenya

🤔 what a joke that kenya needs to remind them of their own history lol like they forgot that already? 2007 was a mess because of the govt trying to manipulate the results who cares about elections when you got people like mungiki and msalaba running wild?

also what's with the "stake" nonsense? like kenya is gonna get destroyed or something? please, it's just an election. and btw, why do they always gotta blame it on the incumbent? can't they see that's just a copout?

and omg, online disinformation? big whoop, we got tiktok and youtube to sort you out 🤣

I'm getting a bad vibe about this upcoming election in Kenya 🤕. It's clear that the country's history of electoral violence and manipulation is still looming over everything, and it's only a matter of time before things escalate into chaos. The fact that President William Ruto is running for re-election again is like a ticking time bomb – it's going to be tough for the IEBC to regain public confidence.

And let's not forget about the role of the media in this whole mess 📰. I mean, if major outlets are too afraid to challenge election results, that just perpetuates the illusion that the system is rigged. It's like they're all waiting for permission from those in power before speaking out – it's really disappointing.

What worries me most is the rise of online disinformation and AI-generated content 🤖. If disinfo can flood platforms with synthetic stuff, who knows what kind of fake news will be spread around? It's already happening, and if we don't get a handle on this soon, I think Kenya's electoral process will collapse under the weight of its own corruption.

The Kenyan youth are coming together to protest against state machinations, which is great, but it's not just about them – it needs to be everyone who cares about democracy 🤝. We all need to join forces and make sure that our voices are heard before things get out of hand.

🚨🇰🇪 I'm really worried about the upcoming election in Kenya... it feels like a recipe for disaster 🍳. They've come so far with reforms, but now the incumbent is running and that's just gonna stir up the pot 🔥. The media needs to step up its game too - we can't have online disinfo flooding our platforms 🤖. And let's be real, Kenya's history of state-generated violence is a major concern 😬. If they don't shore up their internal defences and protect independent institutions, I'm not sure what'll happen 💔. Can the youth movement in Kenya really make a difference? We're running out of time for this election to prove its credibility 🕰️...

man this kenya election thing is getting super messy 🤯 the fact that president ruto is running again is like, a big warning sign lol, i mean, how many times can one guy get away with rigging the system? 🤦‍♂️ and yeah, the media needs to step up their game, cant just sit back and let fake news spread all over socials 📰💻 online disinfo is like, super hard to spot nowadays, gotta be careful how we consume info...
