At least 11 people, including women and children, have been killed after a bus hit by an Israeli tank shell in northern Gaza City on Friday night. The victims were from the same family - Abu Shaaban - who were trying to reach their home to inspect it when they were caught in the crossfire.

According to Hamas-run civil defence, the vehicle was "trying to check on its home" when it was hit by a tank shell in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City. The incident is the deadliest single occurrence involving Israeli forces in Gaza since the start of the ceasefire eight days ago.

The Israeli military claims that soldiers fired at a "suspicious vehicle" that had crossed the yellow line demarcating the area still occupied by Israeli forces in Gaza. However, Hamas says the family was targeted without justification and that the incident is proof of Israel's failure to uphold the ceasefire agreement.

In separate news, Israel has released the body of an Israeli hostage, Eliyahu Margalit, to the Red Cross, which returned it to Israel. This is the tenth hostage to be returned from Gaza since the start of the ceasefire. The remains of another 18 people are yet to be repatriated.

The incident has sparked outrage in both Israel and Palestine, with many calling for an investigation into the killing of civilians. The situation remains tense, with limited access to information about Israeli troop movements in Gaza due to the lack of physical markers on the yellow line demarcating the area under Israeli control.

๐Ÿ˜ฑ oh man 11 people including women and kids killed by a tank shell in Gaza... that's just devastating ๐Ÿค• and can you believe they were trying to check on their own home when it got hit? Like, I get it Israel is trying to keep an eye out, but come on! ๐Ÿ™„ it's like we're living in some bad action movie or something where civilians are the main characters ๐ŸŽฅ. and now there's all this outrage and calls for investigations... yeah that sounds about right ๐Ÿ˜’

Just saw this ๐Ÿค•... 11 people from the same family killed by an Israeli tank shell in Gaza. Can't believe it's happened again. These tanks just seem to be firing everywhere, without any regard for civilians. Israel says they were targeting a "suspicious vehicle" but come on, that's just not believable. The ceasefire agreement is supposed to be in place, but I guess that doesn't mean squat when you're dealing with this kind of power. It's just so tragic, these families can't even move around their own neighborhoods without being caught in the crossfire ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

this is just so senseless ๐Ÿคฏ I mean how can one tank shell cause this much destruction? and for what? a family trying to check on their home... it's just not right. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it, 11 lives lost including women and kids... it's devastating. the ceasefire is supposed to be for civilians, but from what I'm reading, it seems like Israel is still doing whatever they want in Gaza. ๐Ÿค•

๐Ÿค” This is getting way too familiar. Another innocent family wiped out by Israel's "military operations". Can't we get a real casualty count from the Israeli military? 11 people, including women and kids? That's not just suspicious, that's plain reckless. ๐Ÿšจ Where are the witnesses? Anybody with security cameras in that neighborhood? What about video evidence? ๐Ÿ“น We need proof, not just hearsay from both sides. And what's up with this "yellow line" thingy? How can we trust that it's marked clearly if we can't even see it on a map? ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Can someone get me some footage of that area before and after the incident? I want to know what really happened... ๐Ÿ‘€

OMG, this is so sad ๐Ÿค•๐ŸŒŸ like, innocent people just caught in the middle of a war zone & now 11 lives lost ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ’” what's going on? Can't we all just get along? ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ #JusticeForTheAbuShaabanFamily #GazaUnderAttack #CeasefireFail

I mean, I know both sides have their own stories to tell, but can't we focus on finding a peaceful solution instead of escalating the situation? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ก It's like, we're all human beings here, deserving of respect & dignity ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ‘ซ

And can we talk about how confusing it is with these physical markers not being in place? ๐Ÿคฏ Like, how are people supposed to know where they're allowed to be & where they shouldn't? ๐Ÿ™„ It's just creating more chaos & destruction. #GazaConflict #CeasefireMatters #PeaceNow

Anyway, I'm sending all my thoughts & prayers to the families of the victims ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’– May they find peace & justice soon. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ #RIPAbuShaabanFamily

๐Ÿ˜ฑ can't believe this is still happening ๐Ÿคฏ 11 innocent ppl including women & kids got killed by an israeli tank shell in gaza what's going on?? ๐Ÿšซ Palestine deserves peace & stability not this senseless violence ๐Ÿ’” we need to hold ppl in power accountable for their actions & make sure something like this never happens again ๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿ˜ฉ I'm so done with how we always side with the victim's family and assume Israel is always the bad guy ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ. The fact that a tank shell hit a suspicious vehicle crossing the border doesn't necessarily mean it was an accident ๐Ÿค”. What if those soldiers were under pressure to meet some quota or something? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ We're always quick to blame Israel for these things, but what about holding Hamas accountable for launching rockets and putting civilians in harm's way? ๐Ÿคฏ Let's not forget, we have two sides here with a whole lot of complicated history ๐Ÿ˜’. Maybe it's time to take a step back and try to understand each other's perspectives rather than just jumping to conclusions ๐Ÿ‘Š.

I just saw this really cool video of a drone racing competition ๐Ÿš๐ŸŽฅ and I'm thinking, have you guys ever tried that? It's so intense! The speeds they can reach are insane... anyway, back to Gaza, I don't get why the Israelis can't just use GPS or something to mark their territory instead of relying on physical markers. It's like, isn't there a way to make things more precise than that? And what's up with all these drone racing competitions, is it just a thing now? I've been trying to build my own drone and it's been a real challenge...

๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ’” my heart is heavy for those 11 innocent ppl who lost their lives ๐Ÿค•๐Ÿ‘ช๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ’€ the thought of a family trying to get home & being caught in crossfire is just heartbreaking ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ข and can u believe the Israeli military claims they were suspicious & crossed the line? ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ”ด that's just not true, ppl! ๐Ÿ‘Š it's all about who gets to control Gaza ๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฅ

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this latest incident. It's just so senseless ๐Ÿคฏ. A family of 11, including women and kids, caught in the middle of a ceasefire agreement... it's devastating ๐Ÿ˜”. The fact that Hamas is calling for an investigation into Israel's actions just shows how frustrating this situation must be for everyone involved ๐Ÿ’”.

I mean, we all know that Gaza has been through so much trauma already, and to have another incident like this happen? It's just heartbreaking ๐Ÿค•. And on top of that, Israel releasing the body of a hostage without even a proper autopsy or investigation... it raises more questions than answers ๐Ÿค”.

We need to keep pushing for accountability here. The lack of transparency around Israeli troop movements in Gaza is already a huge concern, and now we're talking about potential war crimes being committed? It's time for some serious oversight ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ.

๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿ’” Ugh, this is just so heartbreaking... 11 lives lost, including women and kids, because of a tank shell in Gaza ๐Ÿค• The family was trying to check on their home, for goodness sake! ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ It's not like they were causing any harm. This incident is giving me major dรฉjร  vu - all the tragic stories about civilians caught in the crossfire... ๐Ÿ“บ When will we learn from these incidents? The lack of physical markers for the yellow line is just ridiculous ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’ฅ Can't we find a way to communicate this clearly without resorting to violence? ๐Ÿ˜” The fact that there are still 18 people's remains unrepatriated is just horrific... ๐Ÿค• We need more transparency and accountability, like, now ๐Ÿ’ฏ

๐Ÿค• my heart goes out to that poor family ๐Ÿ˜ฉ they were just trying to check on their home and ended up caught in the crossfire ๐Ÿšซ it's so senseless ๐Ÿ’” the fact that they're from the same family makes it even harder to understand how this could happen ๐Ÿคฏ i think both sides need to calm down and let an investigation take its course โฐ we can't just jump to conclusions or assume everything is one way or the other ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ the ceasefire agreement needs to be respected on both sides if there's even a remote chance of peace ๐Ÿ’•

๐Ÿค• just saw that news from northern Gaza City and it's absolutely heartbreaking ๐ŸŒน the thought of a family trying to check on their home and getting caught in the crossfire is just devastating ๐Ÿ˜ฉ i mean, how do you even justify killing innocent civilians? ๐Ÿ™„ what's going on with these tank shells? are they just blindly firing at everything that crosses the line? ๐Ÿ’ฅ this incident is not an isolated one, we need to see a real change in Israel's military tactics and hold them accountable for their actions ๐Ÿ’ฏ

๐Ÿ˜ฉ I'm still trying to wrap my head around this... 11 people including women and kids are dead because of a tank shell in Gaza? It's just not right, you know? ๐Ÿค• I mean, what's the point of even having a ceasefire if it's just gonna be used as an excuse for them to keep shooting at civilians? ๐Ÿšซ The fact that the family was just trying to check on their home and ended up getting caught in the crossfire is just heartbreaking. ๐Ÿ˜ญ And now they're saying the Israeli military fired without justification... I don't know, it just feels like this is all so senseless. ๐Ÿ’” Can we just get some answers about what's really going on here? ๐Ÿค”

Ugh, this is just so heartbreaking ๐Ÿค•... 11 people, including women and kids, killed by an Israeli tank shell. Can you even imagine being in their shoes? They were trying to check on their home when suddenly they're caught in the crossfire. It's just not right. The fact that they were from the same family makes it even more personal.

I mean, Israel claims the vehicle was suspicious and crossed into a restricted area, but Hamas is saying they were targeted for no reason. You can't just take someone's life without justification. This incident really highlights how fragile the ceasefire agreement is. And let's not forget about the lack of physical markers on the yellow line demarcating the area under Israeli control, which makes it hard to determine what's going on. It's like they're trying to keep information from us.

I'm all for accountability and transparency in situations like this. We need more investigation into this incident so that justice can be served. This is just another example of how these conflicts can spiral out of control, leaving innocent civilians caught in the middle. My heart goes out to the Abu Shaaban family ๐Ÿ™.
